I don't think this is predraft posturing, it's Jerry being honest. And I agree with him. Taking a WR before other more important needs are addressed makes zero sense to me.

That's exactly right...

Offensive line-all positions
Safety
NT
Another corner for depth

All are more desperate than WR.

I must say I didnt see any of their games besides the Orange Bowl, and their Miami game. He didnt do jack in the Orange Bowl.

I like Kam's size, but we dont exactly need that back in our secondary. Honestly the more I think about it, he's not a good fit here. I just like him because he's a baller...everytime I watched him this past year he was blowing someone up or making a play.

The more I'm reading on Chad Jones from LSU, the more I'm becoming a fan of his.
it's that VT system. they all ball in that system than when they get to the NFL they become Deangelo hall.

While I don't see WR as a burning need we could certainly use one. I like what I see in Olgetree but I'm not counting on him to be another Larry Fitzgerald.

The defense and STs are stout enough to win a championship. The offense is not. And we need more than just OL. This offense would jump to another level with the addition of a premier WR. And it needs to jump to another level.

Take the BPA esp if it can be at a position of need. My guess is we can pick up a G/C at 27 but if the BPA is a WR then by all means grab him.

We never look for WR's or QB's early in the draft. Only once each in over 15 years. If it weren't for undrafted FA's at each of those positions we wouldn't have been anywhere near the playoffs this year.

After watching the Vikes go through our o-line like a knife through hot butter, if our 1st round pick is anything other than a tackle or guard, I will go freaking postal!!!

If Mardy Gilyard falls into the second round, I'm sure they would consider it, he is a great ST guy. Also if Denver gives away Marshall, I bet Jerry would consider that too.

With the recent emphasis on creating positive chemistry in the locker room, I bet he wouldn't...

Fine with me as the WR position is ok with me...Sure, I'd like to see a faters WR that can stretch the defense.....but you know what? The o-line is what allows some WR's the time to get open.......just gte me some guys in the trenches! That's where the game is won.

I have a hard time believing Jerrah, who is probably watching the speedy weapons in Minny, N.O and Indy and thinking that might be an ingredient missing from his offense.

Morgan Burnett in the 2nd round = championship!

doubt he falls that far

and why not replace crayton in the slot for someone like shipley or gilyard in the second if they fall..? crayton isn't bad but we could use someone much more explosive and better after the catch

why do you doubt he falls that far? several safeties are ranked ahead of him.

WR is not necessary this year unless they are a spectacular returner.

You rarely get two people whom are better than the overrated Larry Fitzgerald from Undrafted free agency.

We already have one.
