DMN Blog: Cowboys refuse to apologize for win/Brooking cherishes the win

There is nothing to apologize for. Dallas won and I think they also know they made way too many mistakes that they must continue to work on.

How can an offsides call be garbage? Either you're offsides or you aren't. You sir are what's referred to as a Stepford Fan.

and you need to watch the tape before shooting off at the mouth.

but is OK because the cowboys suck and it is all JJ's fault, so carry on with your pathetic agenda.

getting real tired of this site and the loser cry babies that spout out garbage all the time.

Good post.

I agree with the players.

Me too. We got a win going into a bye and hopefully we will come out even healthier.

Earlier I stated that this game would determine what type of team we will be this season. I didn't anticipate the level of heart that this team would show in the game. I am very encouraged by this win and it should bring this team closer together.

Another note, Miles should be the number WR if he can demonstrate success in the next game. He is freaking huge, runs great routes, and has the type of speed that scares the hell out of DCs. When Roy becomes healthy he should be regulated to the number 2 and we should move Clayton back in the slot. This would send a message to the team that if you show, then you get some mo, basically dangling the carrot in front of the horse.

I am becoming a HUGE Brooking fan. Love his intensity and production. Get a dang win and move to the next one.

just because a player jumps offsides for a play doesn't mean he's undisciplined, it just means he made a mistake. you have no idea what discipline means, obviously.

a disciplined athlete will make a mistake and learn from it. an undisciplined athlete will just keep making mistakes over and over again. understand?

DeMarcus Ware - disciplined
Flozell Adams - undisciplined

...on the defence on that offside series.

There were multiple offsides and everyone on the defence knew what were the repercussions of those penalties yet they still repeated the penalty.

That is clearly a lack of discipline plain as the nose on their faces. Having a team mate commit a penalty not once, but twice should make you aware to pause and be more focused.

You can't give free yards and then write it off as if nothing has happened. That's not accountability in professional sports!

They are losers. Cut or trade them ASAP. The defense is horrible and it is all JJ's fault. Coach Jerry needs to step up his game or die soon. One or the other. I can't take watching this pathetic team much longer.

do you honestly think everybody on defense wrote it off like nothing happened? I'm absolutely positive DWare, JRatliff, and KBrooking didn't feel good about that and didn't just write it off.

also, saying someone is undisciplined because someone else makes a mistake is ridiculous.

I love me some Keith Brooking. Whatever he says I'm on board with. I think he's gaining more and more cred in the locker room and I truly believe he has the kind of mentality it takes to get it done. The louder his voice becomes the better off we'll be.

Could you imagine had we brought in Dawkins? Two strong, respected voices in the locker room. And it appears he still has some left in his tank.

I'd just like to know if we actually won the game because of changes in the coaching philosophy or because Miles Austin broke tackles that should have been tackles?
