I found it interesting that Stephen Jones is in on the coaches' meetings, too, busily taking notes. It makes sense, of course, but I still found it interesting.

I wonder if other teams' GMs and contract/cap guys sit in on their coaches' meetings?

1st thing I thought was that he was taking notes to go and shop a specific player.

Stephen saying that a guy is worth "X amount" doesn't quite work without having some of the coaches take.

well here is the deal..I think defense wise my Commanders D plays better more consistently than the cowboys D.not saying our talent is better, but as a unit i would count on Commanders D to make more plays..on offense well our run game is better, but hands down your passing game is much better.but i expect that to change some what with jim zorns offense.special teams we have a more consistent unit than your cowboys. so thats how i see it!!!

God forbid the owner actually sit in meetings so he can keep learning about football and make informed decisions for the team.
Skins fans are so obsessed with Dallas, their whole world revoles around Dallas. Their fan base, their players, the owner.

As far as team play....Dallas Ranked 9th in Defense with 311 yards a game,325 points allowed....Foreskins...Ranked 8 with 307 yards a game 310 points allowed.

Offense.....Dallas 3rd with 28.4 points per game Rushing 1746 with 4.2 per carry. Washington 15th with 20.9 per gameRushing 1871 3.8 yards a carry. Dallas had 419 attempts and Washinton had 498. That is 79 more attempts to get only 125 more yards. I am not even going to compare the passing games as it is not even close.

You offense in every facet of the game was worse than ours. You defense was ranked slighty (4 yards) a head of ours. Your D is no different than ours and out offense is vastly superior to yours.

It's called a rivalry for a reason...

He was defending ex-Skins coach Joe Gibbs when he dropped this gem: "We got close. We should have beaten Seattle two of those years and I think we would have had a lot of fun playing Dallas."

I don't know why Danny thinks losing is a lot of fun.

I hope Danny didn't overpay for you like he does for his free agents.

I would call it more of a exabition game than a rivalry. For a rivalry the two teams should be realtively close in talent.
