How true. RW does suck.

So, can anyone venture a guess as to why RW is an automatic starter opposite (presumably Miles Austin)?

Crayfish, who I have never been overwhelmed by, at least has been working every week and contributing (more than RW). Ogle deserves a chance in prime time. Heck, I'd even start Hurd ahead of RW.

What has RW done to make himself a starter?

Anyone? Anyone?

So true. Roy Williams is not a starter in the NFL. He wouldn't even be more than the 3rd receiver on a team as lowly as the Cleveland Browns. He only averages 15 YPC during his career, 58 ypg (or 928 yards per 16 games) and only 200 of his 291 career catches have gone for first downs. The guy obviously cannot help a team in any meaningful way. I don't know what these so-called football professionals think they're doing not having him ride the pine. Obviously, you are a much better evaluator of talent.

"I think he's played well,'' Garrett said. "We haven't always hit on the opportunities we've had with him. There have been times he's been open when, for whatever reason, we haven't been able to get him in the ball.

"I think when players see that on tape they say, 'hey, there are chances here. I just need to keep focused and keep working on my part of the execution and things are going to come.' I think Roy feels that way.''

Substitute Romo for the bold type and you'll get Garrett's REAL thoughts. ;)

Yeah he sounds thrilled."Nothings changed"thats right Roy, nothing has changed, you still suck.

Whatever dude. He may not be producing like T.O. did in the past, but I don't think anyone in here expected that either. He's still finding his niche in this offense. Don't forget, he has been an excellent down the field blocker for our running game. That is something that is often overlooked.

So your assessment of Williams is extremely flawed.

maybe if Romo actually threw him the ball we could find out how good he is. he looked pretty good with Kitna throwing him the ball whem they played for Detroit of all teams. maybe we really do have a TR problem.

Is that you TO???

How you like playing in Siberia for a bottom feeder franchise???

I bet you wish now you would have shut the hell up about Romo and Witten drawing up "secret plays". Have fun catching balls from Fitzpatrick while Trent Edwards recovers from his concussion.

By complementing RW's route running, his ability to get open, and to catch the ball, and by saying that for whatever reason we have not gotten him more involoved, this really is a passive-aggressive shot at Tony Romo. Whaile I agree that it really is up to Romo to execute the pass to RW when he gets free, I don't like how the coach is so quick to implicitly throw Romo under the bus. That's partly why this offense lacks continuiity; nobody trusts the OC.

Tecmo better be careful taking a shot at Romo, the last guy that basically called out Romo (the secret plays fiasco), is now freezing his balls off in Sibera for a bottom feeder.

If I am Garrett, I dont say jack about Romo.

we need to throw this guy the ball 10 times minimum a game...got that romo

I have to respectfully disagree with you about that.

I mean, REALLY disagree.

I mean, really, really REALLY disagree.

I was thinking the same thing as I read that article.

I'd be almost be tempted to take a sabbatical from this team if Garrett is HC next year.
Curious. Does that mean you're going to take a leave of absence from daily Cowboys related experiencesl, such as this site, as well?

Key word is tempted.

Garrett as HC assures 2 or 3 more years of headaches and wanting to cry myself to sleep on gameday/nights.

So we gave up a 1st and 3rd and paid him 40 mil to be an excellent downfield blocker? I dont think my assessment is flawed at all, he's being paid to produce as a reciever yet he's our most unproductive one.
