This.

No, that was a Wade Phillips praise - not a Jerry slam.superpunk;3113716 said:Close, but CL salvaged it into a Jerry thread.
DMN Blog: Jay Ratliff says Cowboys play for one another
theebs;3113701 said:I think if I remember correctly they played together at auburn? Is that the connection.
cowboyjoe;3113749 said:that true but i cant stand big mouth jacobs;
im just wondering though if ratliff knows that jacobs says he hates the cowboys and the fans, and he stomped on the star and players did things in the visitors locker room, anyway i sent jay an email letter;
:laugh2:adbutcher;3113883 said:Joe you are alright with me.
jterrell;3113896 said:It is pretty clear Jacobs is just jealous of the Cowboys. He has said in fact that he hates us because even when they win a Super Bowl we get more attention than they do. Guy is in the biggest media market in the country and still whining, lol.
Ratliff isn't going to "hate" a former friend because he is jealous of his professional football team. I had real life friends play against the Cowboys and I never decided to hate any of them although they to a man they wanted to beat Dallas more than any other team.
Ratliff will gladly lay the hammer down on Jacobs when he comes through the line so he doesn't need to call him a jerk.

an "email letter" aka "telegram"
I'm sure Jay will have a great time trying to decrypt and translate it too

There have been times in the past when it seemed like the fans cared more about wins and loses than did some of the players.

ZeroClub;3113926 said:You can go ask Tank.
adbutcher;3113929 said:No matter who you ask, it is not true. You or any other fan don't have any skin in the game. Sorry you caring more just doesn't fly.
I agree that Brooking brought that attitude with him, but I think it has more to do with whose gone (Tank, Pac, T.O) than who came in or personalities on this team changing.WV Cowboy;3113641 said:Not all of course, but I think Brooking brought a lot of this attitude to the team.
He says similar things when interviewed.
He is not the only one, but he has had an impact in the attitude and comradery of this team. IMO
jterrell;3113939 said:And the thought Tank didn't want some extra cash from a playoff game check is probably pretty absurd... even if he hated the team and couldn't wait to get away from it.
Most of us wanted a win in Philly pretty badly but I doubt many of us had 60k or so riding on it.
adbutcher;3113951 said:Fans get carried away sometimes. I understand but sometimes a fan's perspective is far from reality.
Outside of monetary gain, there is all of the practice time and playing when most normal humans couldn't even walk. Yea some slob (no offense) sitting on his lucky couch while his wife and children are in the basement cares more? I don't buy it and never will.
ZeroClub;3113958 said:So what happened with that plane ride back from Philadelphia last year? Or after the Rams game?
If you think everybody on that team last year cared all that much, you weren't paying attention.
