Good...I don't want Jerra or Wade to "coach" him out of that.

I want Ball to keep it up and knock the hockey-puck out of anyone that comes his way. The more hard hitting, the better.

What I find interesting is that the media will dwell on Jerry saying he can't coach Ball out of that and instead ignoring the HORRENDOUS call by the refs and the HORRENDOUS officiating...on both sides...of the game and the HORRENDOUS officiating that is going around league wide, every single week.

This eerily reminds me of 2005 when the officiating was HORRENDOUS the entire year, the league and the media completely ignored it and it bit them in the arse when the officiating was HORRENDOUS in the playoffs and the Super Bowl. People remember the officiating being HORRENDOUS in the Seahawks vs. Steelers game, but it was also HORRENDOUS in the Colts vs. Steelers AFC Championship game, particularly the call where Polamalu caught an interception, went to the ground, rolled over twice and then got up and accidently kneed the ball and recovered the fumble. Of course, that was called an incomplete pass.

So AGAIN, the officiating continues to be HORRENDOUS and the NFL does nothing to prevent this. Way to go, Goodell.

BTW, this post is sponsored by the word horrendous.

Al Micheals would call it DUBIOUS officiating.

Wow...Didnt think the call was penalty worthy either. But Jones' comment is what is wrong with this team...He can't coach it out of him, he shouldn't be coaching a damn thing. Watching film, looking at x-rays, and now coaching...wow :bang2:

They called a Helmet-to-helmet personal foul penalty.

And it was a pathetic call. There's no way the guy who threw the flag could have possibly seen whether Ball actually made contact with the helmet. What he saw was the guys head jerk back, as anybody's would in that osrt of hit. There wasnt a single replay ran that showed Ball making contact with that guys helmet. The only angle you could have seen it was from behind Ball, and that was never shown.

I also laughed at how the ******* ref missed a helmet to helmet on Romo in the redzone earlier.

I love this league's consistent officiating and pansy *** rules (not)

Stupid BS call.

If Romo's last name was Brady, he would have gotten that call all day every day. GRRRRRRRR

Jerry had a slip of the tongue there. You know what is crazy? I have heard several rookies refer to him as coach when they get the draft day phone call. I've heard it multiple times.

That's because he wants people to think he is.

This rule has already been responsible for alot of games swinging in different directions. Hopefully this gets tweaked next yr. I understand why the rule is there but sometimes the calls are flat out ridiculous. If anything blame Hines Ward for trying to purposely hurt people by leading with his helmet on every play he gets a chance too.

I have other names to describe it as well, but they are not allowed here.

For Shame. :)
