I don't see Austin agreeing to a contract that has a poison pill in it that the Cowboys can't match. And if he does, then he doesn't want to be here.
I do agree that Dallas could be setting itself up to have to give Austin a much worse contract than what it could pay by franchising him. I'd rather them tag him then try to work it out on their own terms.
