That was about the only thing he said that I disagree with. One-sided contests aren't common place, but they aren't exactly scarce either. It happens every week. Teams that are "supposed to win" often do rather easily.
This was a team we should have beaten much like the Eagles, Vikings and Giants did with their opponents---IF we indeed are what we supposedly are.
It isn't that the expectations are that high. He compared it to Atlanta. Well, Atlanta has never been regarded as among the conference's better teams except for a few (well, perhaps only one) of the year's he played for the Falcons.
Perhaps it is just that the perception that is out there that this is one of the league's better teams is just false. If so, then yes, the expectations based off that false assumption are unrealistic.
I disagree with your thoughts on the expectations.
Bill Parcells even stated that the fans overrate this team. The Dallas Cowboys have enjoyed so much success throughout the years, that expectations are insanely unrealistic every year.
As I stated, the only people upset with 3-2 and the way we have played are those that bought into the Superbowl/NFC Champions Hype.
BTW, welcome to Dallas Keith, the expectations are insanely high, but that isn't going to change, so get used to it.
One of the main reason they are playing in a billion dollar stadium where the citizens of Arlington pitched in about half and you have all those prime time games are because of the fans, no matter how stupid people perceive them to be.
