I'm not. Bet the farm in Vegas, he'll miss time this year. One word- FRAGILE

did you bet the farm he'd miss time in the 4 seasons he played every game?

Nobody thinks it's weird that Crayton is lining up as the QB in the Razorback? I realize he was a former QB, but he ain't exactly the fastest or quickest threat back there. Isn't the idea that he can run it himself or hand it off or throw it? I can see the handoff and throw thing working, but don't see defenses worrying too much about Crayton running with it.

I honestly hope we never see it ran one time...it'll most likely be a waste of a play...couldnt care less who they line up back there...Tony Romo not being at QB is a win for the defense

*CB Terence Newman sat out today because of a minor quad injury. Wade Phillips said Newman probably would have practiced with such an injury during the regular season. Phjllips declined to detail every injury, but he said they were mostly minor leg injury, including a strain for WR Miles Austin.

Here we go

Seriously come on!!

We cant get a break with him.:bang2:

No, part of what has made it successful is the element of surprise. You have to run it with your normal players and Crayton figures to be on the field alot. You can't bring someone in just to run the wildcat so that everyone will know it is coming.

Probably just the 2 seasons after than where he hasn't gone any extended period without something hurting.

I'm pretty sure that lining Crayton up at QB is a big hint that the Wildcat is coming.

I can't imagine any D-Coordinator having a special sub-package just for that one gimmick formation.

Nope, probably not. It just throws a wrinkle into who will and won't be involved in the play.

I honestly would love to see Romo fake an injury going to end a quarter, then have Kitna trot out to run a regular play. Once that play is over, Kitna slowly walks over to the sideline like he's going to call time out and they snap it to whomever is in the backfield. That might work only once a season, but it might work at an opportune time.

Other than that, I'm not a real big fan of the formation with your primary QB anywhere in the mix.

Dude really? What were you rooting Brad Johnson to win the starting job while Romo was out for 4 games? Given Kitna is prolly better than Brad Johnson but i dont think Romo did anything wrong. He's not the Superman you want him to be. Give the man a break, I'll take him over Quincy Carter, Chad Hutchison, Drew Henson, Drew Bledsoe, and Jon Kitna alllll day. I hate when people want him to be Tom Brady.
