The bursa communicates with the knee joint. So the bursa can be inflamed and producing too much fluid primarily or it can have too much fluid secondarily from some abnormal process in the knee joint itself.

Rest, physical therapy (mostly ice right now) and medication are the first choice. If it persists then you need to find out why.

It might require minor surgery, swollen bursa sack can be caused by cartiledge damage in the knee, as it is in my case. If its not something that goes away in a week's time on its own it could potentially take him out of the playoffs.

For me personally, I just don't have the money to have it fixed. I'm sure thats not a problem for MBIII.

What sarcasm? You're right. I have no clue about this stuff, so I ask. Lots of folks posting from personal experience made it sound to me like a swollen bursa requires a shot every once in a while, but it keeps recurring. So I asked if it was curable. I have no idea what a neck stinger is or if it will limit Choice. That's all!
