DMN Blog: Mosley's gone and JJT's tired of waiting on BP

blackstone is gone? good - now every single thing that happens in dallas sports won't have racial motivation.
He left quite some time ago when DMN was offering early retirement packages.

I think Sherrington is still with DMN. Don't remember reading about whether he left or not. Though he wasn't a regular Cowboys beat writer, they did lose Kevin Blackistone.

They've already made Calvin Watkins a regular beat writer. He's too new to be promoted to columnist. So Mr. Chad might have a shot.
Thats' right it was Blackistone.

My bad.

Yeah. The idiot put his team in a spot to win on the road in bad weather. Yep. That's the hallmark of a bad job.

Not fired because of the Seattle game, but fired because of the whole season. You certainly would agree to that wouldn't you?

Doesn't say. Just that he left DMN. I'm curious as well, even tho I sometimes found his articles filled with too much fluff.

You aren't a member of the Newspaper awards voting team are you?

Mosley told me he was leaving the DMN...thats why he hasn't answered the board questions we sent in a long time...ago...he said he'd get them back during superbowl week from his new job

From what I hear, Mosley is going to ESPN. Congrats for him. Big time vertical move.

I would disagree. We played very well for much of the season. But me, I look at what the guy has done for the team as a whole rather than focus on a few awful games.

then as a whole we're .504 and (2) play off losses for early exits.

anyway you look at it this isn't the success we're used to.

Come on now. We piled on some pretty bad teams (Titans, Texans, Tampa Bay) and in general, didn't play very well against the better teams, save Indy. If you want to say he's done good things churning the roster, FINALLY turning the keys over to a non-has been QB and helping ensure that we have a strong scouting department, I'm with you, but I'm not with you on the "played very well" much of the time statement. How poorly we have played on a consistent basis, at home no less, coming down the stretch constitutes more than just a "few awful games."

What success was that? Before Parcells came aboard it had been SIX years since we'd even had a winning record . How quickly people forget those days....

and how even more quickly people are willing to settle for modest gain and call it a day.

Interesting Deb. Thanks for following up.

Maybe it was all the sucking up he did to Trey Wingo and those guys. :)
