Like I said in another thread-at the very least, be glad that we drafted Jenkins instead of DeSean Jackson with our #28.

Newman will be fine. But at the very worst, we have some nice depth now.

Desean Jackson has done next to nothing in Eagles camp except get McPuke mad when he dropped his passes and get hurt.

Glenn's was a minor injury when it first happened too. He was going to miss a practice or two. Then a week. Then "we're just playing it safe". Then surgery to be out 6-8 weeks. Then his Cowboys career is over.

Do I think this is the case with TNew? ABSOLUTELY NOT.

But there is reason to be concerned with an injury like this even if everyone is saying it's no big deal. That being said, let's hope it's our biggest concern this whole camp.

Glenn's injury was never minor. If you go back further when he decided not to have micro-fracture surgery, it tells you the chances of him ever being 100% healthy.

Ugh. That sucks.

He may be a vet, but we were putting in some new wrinkles this year and he still needs to get his timing down.

I still have a little hope that they're being extra conservative on the recovery time after catching so much flak last year on the Terry and Ellis situations. So maybe it's not that bad.

Let's just hope for no more injuries. CB is the deepest position for the Cowboys and Newman could miss the whole camp and probably be ok to play sparingly the first game.

Let's also hope Pacman is reinstated and the Commish doesn't play around and give him a one or two game suspension to start the season just to spite the Cowboys.
