Yep, Pacman Jones is a changed man all right. No more appearances at strip clubs, at least for a few years. But he'll apparently still spend plenty of time around strippers.
******** discovered this gem of a party flyer, which I heard about while listening to ESPN 103.3 FM's continuing Pacman coverage.
"WE GON TO MAKE IT RAIN," the flyer advertises.
Pacman and a character named Young Spoaty are the headliners at the National Street League's Grey Goose Party 2008. The party starts at midnight Sunday and is scheduled to go until 6 a.m. at Nite Lite in Atlanta.
The hosts are Money and the Ladies of Club Blaze. That's the gentlemen's establishment where Pacman's entourage got into a little argument with some other fellas in the wee morning hours last July. A shooting occurred a couple hours later, though police said that Jones wasn't involved in the gun play after investigating. Pacman was also questioned by police about a fight at Club Blaze days after he was drafted.
Based on what I heard from Pacman and his agent/lawyer/enabler on the radio today, it's safe to assume that the police got it all wrong if they link him to any trouble at this innocent little shindig.
