I begin to wonder if these guys are calling RW on purpose to light that fire under him. RW has been known to be lazy in alot of things he does as a WR and rely on his size and athleticism to get him by. I am wondering if they are poking at the bear to see if they can finally get him awake, ticked off and motivated.

With those guys, I would not doubt that is their true intentions rather than bashing the guy.
The problem I have with Roy Williams is he had an incredible opportunity last year, an opportunity of a life time when he was afforded 1 on 1 coverage all season long.

Now I've played receiver and I'll guarantee you no man has ever been able to stop me 1 on 1, of course I've not played in the pros or anything, but at my level, I would be offended if teams continuously put me in one on one coverage and I could not break from it.

So it's important that Roy gets his butt out there and work with Romo, and work with his strength to get stronger and to get off the line and into his routes, because the ball will be coming his way a lot this year.

Roy is definitely WAY overrated. I'm not worried, the fans will be trying to push him out the door next year of the year after, and Jerry will listen.

Dude, nobody is taking you seriously anymore.

I have not seen one single "positive" post from you since TO was released. Nothing talking about how good our special teams might be or how good some of our rookies from last year might be with another year under their belt. Nothing about how our good our running game might be with Barber, Felix, and Choice all contributing........Nothing you post is positive.

The "Negative Nancy" crap is getting old. You were a very good poster and very well respected when you were Clove. I really enjoyed your play by play and other insight you provided.

But as soon as TO was released, you changed your name to Judas and starting posting negative crap after negative crap after negative crap. We get it, you are pissed your boy got released. Guess what, there have been players released or traded that I liked also. I wanted to keep Jason Ferguson, I thought it was a mistake to trade him.

However, if you are a fan of the team, you accecpt it and move on. If you are mad at the fans because of the way TO or anybody else was treated, then why constantly criticize the team?

It appears that you are very upset that TO was released and that is why you switched overnight from Clove to Judas and every single post you make is now negative where previously you were one of the more positive posters in here. That is how most posters view you now, you have a personal grudge against the fans or the team or whatever.

So there is no need to discuss or debate anything with you, because you will automatically be negative. We could trade for Peppers tonight and you would say it was the worst trade the team ever made. We could trade for Tom Brady and you would say he is damged goods from his knee injury, ect...............that is what I mean by nobody takes your post seriously anymore.

Here are my positives.

1.Romo is still young and has experience.
2.Felix-Choice-Barber, that combination is dangerous as long as Garrett gets his head out of his butt and actually feature them.
3.Witten is still dangerous.
4.Ware, need I say more?
5.Our Punter is fantastic and so is our kicker, it's a shame our coaches allowed these units to stink when we had 2 of the best doing it.
6.Wade - although I don't like his ability to organize a strong game-day plan for great teams, and manage a season with injuries/etc conditioning, etc, I do think he's a hell of a defensive coordinator, and if he can somehow turn this unit into a scary unit, maybe what happens on the offensive side of the ball won't matter.

There you go, and yeah their is a new stadium, and although I don't care for the monitors at the edges of that wonderful big middle monitor, it should be an outstanding visit when I go.

Deion Sanders needs to stop crying a river for T.O. He'll be OK collecting that $6 million dollar salary.

I dont really care about stats. Even though 1st downs are a stat. Thats all I want because that means sustaining drives.

ding = 1st down
ding = 1st down
ding = 1st down
ding = 1st down
ding = 1st down

Can you spell Michael Irvin boys and girls? Fine with me to get the same results.

Also, let's don't forget RW will only go as far as Romo whom will only go so far as his OL and OC. OTOH, RW can help make the OL, OC, and Romo look better.

His best season was when he played with Kitna. In my opinion, Romo's a solid upgrade over Kitna. Should Romo suffers another setback during the season, Kitna should be to utilize Roy Williams' skills well-enough based upon their past history together.

Wonder if that had any reason to do with acquiring him? Besides the obvious fact he's now a great choice for a backup QB.

You know, of course, that Williams' QB from Detroit is now on the Cowboys team?

:confused:

You know....having Kitna as our back up ,if Romo goes down to injury ,we still have a QB that knows how to get the ball to our # 1 WR....fairly savey move on Jerry's part ;)

It's schtick. The real Clove will be back when the season starts. I read every one of Judas' posts as mocking the whiners around here until somebody can convince me otherwise.

Could be. That would also suggest that the decision to release Terrell Owens was made no later than the last week of February, since Jon Kitna was acquired on February 28. I wonder if Roy Williams began to contemplate a possible alteration in the wide receiver depth chart based upon the trade as early as then?
