Another thing.................
I don't get it that, anytime anyone says anything whatsoever about your team, it's "Trash Talking".
I hear and see ZERO of that in Lewis' remarks. In fact, I found it very respectful. Further more, I sensed his concern about NOT getting to Romo, and how it leads to disaster for the opposing team. Reading between the lines, he's also worried about what Romo can do on his "up" days.
That's not trash talking. That's showing the guy a TON of respect, and indicating their approach to stopping the opposing team. Simple as that. What, can't a guy give simple analysis and share his opinion about his upcoming opponent without being assaulted and besmirched?
I'm not taking Lewis or his side over Romo and our side. I'm just saying that this is the type of vocabulary that happens every week in team meetings and film sessions in preparation for games. Some one asked him questions, and he answered as concisely, respectfully, and "un-flamingly" as he could.
He as also saying what I've been saying for good while now. That Romo provides just enough bling, and just enough numbers, and just enough plays to keep the "Tony Romo is god" crowd mesmerized and starry eyed. But when rattled or disturbed, he's quicker than many to lose his poise and provide the "big play" for the other team.
