Apparently, it's your belief that on the play in question, Romo would not have thrown the ball to Roy... never mind that he has done so repeatedly down on the goal line this season:
Sheldon Brown is just not a smart football player then. The postgame show was making fun of that play. They basically said, "How funny was it when Sheldon Brown actually thought Romo was going to throw the ball to Roy Williams?" Romo made a pre-snap read, and he knew he was going to Crayton from the very start. So I guess good job Roy?
Inasmuch as I doubt that Romo confided his thought processes to you, this is you making an ASSUMPTION, that Tony wasn't about to throw the ball Roy's way... again, never mind that Tony has gone to Roy down in close on a number of occasions this year...
That's what I call an "agenda"... man... basically, you've turned Roy into one of your Designated Scapegoats, a convenient whipping boy for whatever ails the team... which is funny, since there's not really much ailing the team these days...
IOW, rather than calmly and rationally trying to figure out what the problem is with Roy, you'd rather just snarl about him... some in here HAVE tried to figure out what that problem is, and the general consensus is that he's just let the media get inside his head, and is now pressing... this has led to drops that are most uncharacteristic of him, which has naturally led to Tony not looking for him first...
At least, that's the only reason I can figure out why a still-young receiver who has been highly productive in his career is now about half as productive as he was... so, do you have any other read on what the source of the problem might be, or are you just content to snarl about it??
