Ohhhhhh I see...

Opinions are only valid if they are wishy-washy enough.

That's not what I'm saying, so no, you don't see. This is closer: Opinions are no less valid if they are thoughtful, in more than one sense of the word.

Well, you seem to assign less "thought" to opinions that aren't the same as yours -and that's fine.

I will continue to place reporters under politicians and used car salesmen (as does the rest of the country) in trustworthiness and you can thoughtfully disagree.

Deal?

Fair enough.

YoMick, your sig is sexy.

Mick's sig bet brings another idea to light. This is for the mouse that is dcfanatic. Let's forget that you made a lame one sided bet a page or so back in this thread. Let's get you to put something up there big guy. Heck, I'll go in if you go in. Sig bets. That sounds harmless enough right?

If TO is a member of the active roster this year you have to use the sig of my choice (which I will probably design with loving care via photoshop). If he gets cut and is no longer on the team for 2009 I wear the sig of your choice.

Duration: all season long

Step up

Hey Bleu...

Reckon DCFanatic has grown a set yet?

It's funny that we were thinking the same thing at the same time. I guess we'll find out.

I'm no scheme expert but I've coached a little football. I can't figure out how a 4-3 or 3-4 has any different effect on the strong safety position. ????

It has very little impact imo. In a 4-3, you have 3 decent cover guys in the front seven. Maybe the MLB isn't, but typically a good 4-3 defense has 2-3 LBers who can cover. Most 3-4 defenses have 1 guy in the front seven who can cover, so more coverege responsibilities fall on the safties. I still don't think it's that big of an impact considering you have more pass rushers on the field, which makes it easier to cover but apperantley it's enough to make RW38 feel like it's not his fault.

It just sounds better than "I really haven't had a clue what I was doing since Woody retired... I mean since we switched to a 3-4." ;)

The only thing I could think of as to why the 3-4 vs. 4-3 would effect Roy is that the 4-3 typically employs smaller, faster LBs who could take on the task of covering TEs instead of Roy. Still, its a sad statement for any safety that he expects LBs to cover better than he can. The NFL is moving to a spread league. Multiple WR sets. Athletic TEs. The luxory of having a safety, either free or strong, that can't cover is non-existent. Unfortunately, Jerry and Larry were a couple of years behind the curve in 2002.

What's the over/under on the possibility that dcfanatic has already seen my offer and, due to lack of fortitude, hasn't responded to it? I'll take that bet too.

DC, When you grow some feel free to respond.

Stop being foolish. If you'd looked at his profile, you'd have seen that he hasn't been online ALL day.

If it's that serious to you, PM him with the details of the new bet.

Roy Williams "tells it like it is."

And Owens "blasts his teammate."

Sounds like one of the biggest dissapointments on our entire roster is running his mouth, by no means telling it like it is. The king of finger pointing and underachieving nothing Roy says or does is worth even debating anymore.

So at the same moment in time both of you were thinking about my set?

Eeeeewwww.

:laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2:

It's not about a set. It was about 5 being stupid drunk with his ego and putting his acct on the line for Terrell Owens, lol.

Now you are both trying to get the spotlight back on me because he feels stupid and you are the king of knowing how that feels so you are sympathizing with him.

While both of you think about my set at the same time, lol.

Again, some put our beliefs on the line and some just post what others say and think.

But what is funny in this whole deal is that you still believe I risked something. :lmao:
