Just like with the links to what is being said in Denver, we've gone through the Broncos' press release and uncovered some interesting statistical stuff. Here goes:
** The Broncos have trailed for only 4:46 of the first 180 minutes of the season. I know they've played Cincinnati, Cleveland and Oakland - and that will be a familiar refrain with some of these numbers - but that's still impressive.
** Left tackle Ryan Clady has not allowed a full sack in his career (19 games). According to Stats Inc., that's currently the longest streak in the NFL. The Broncos have allowed only three sacks this season and allowed a league-low 12 last year. By the way, Clady held Oakland's Richard Seymour and Cincinnati's Antwan Odom, the current league sack leader, without sacks so far this year.
** The Broncos have allowed only 16 points in three games, which is the third fewest in the Super Bowl era through three games. Green Bay (2001) and Seattle (2004) allowed 13 points through three games those years. Now, the rankings of the offenses they have played so far are No. 24 (Cincy), No. 32 (Browns) and No. 31 (Raiders).
** Kyle Orton is 6-1 in his last seven starts and 24-12 as a starter. He's only thrown one October interception in his career, and he has gone 126 passes without a pick. Only Green Bay's Aaron Rodgers (158) has a longer streak without a pick.
** Remember Correll Buckhalter when he was in Philly? He has three 20-yard plus runs already. He's never had more than five in a season.
