I have not heard a lot of Broncos fans gloating about being 3-0 so far this season. Of course, considering how they won the Bengals game, their only real game, I guess they would do best to not say too much.

3-0 is better than 2-1 last time I checked

Seriously, I'm kind of shocked at the cockiness of our own fans. I heard the same spew before the Bucs game, Giants game and Carolina game. Why in the world any Cowboys fan who watched any of those games believes this will be a cake walk is beyond me.

I might be the ultimate negative Nancy here but the Cowboys have shown me no reason in the last several years that they will show up for this game and play above expectations and put away a much less talented team.

Unless Dallas jumps on Denver early and is up by 3 scores late in the 3rd I would not be surprised to see Denver come away with this one at home.

Sorry so negative but I need a reason and a consistent reason to believe.

Yeah, it's just too bad you can't play Cleveland and Oakland every week.

But hey, maybe the ball will bounce off Witten's foot into Brandon Stokley's hands for another 85 yarder?

Carolina was a 12-4 division winner last season.

Were any of the teams the Broncos have beaten even .500?

And Dallas could have just as easily beaten the Giants who are among the league's best.

About as easily as having a ball bounce our way.

Good point. Our two teams have had very similar starts - big wins against bad teams, and one game where luck determined the outcome. With Denver, they got the lucky bounce. With us, all the bounces went against us.

The difference is, in our "luck game", we actually looked damn impressive.

I wonder if Broncoshomer249282%(^8 can acknowledge that.

All of your sacks and int came against Carolina.

It's funny how stats work in such a limited window isn't it. I mean, yeah we failed to get sacks against Tampa and the Giants, yet they have given up 3 sacks combined to the rest of the NFL. Meanwhile, you guys have 10 sacks on the season against teams that have allowed a combined 24 sacks on the season. We failed to get an INT against either the Giants or Tampa, yet they have given up a total of 4 INTs to the rest of the NFL. Every single team you have faced this year has given up at least 4 INTs.

The point being, yes our only sacks and ints came against Carolina, however if we had played Cinci, Cleveland and Oakland instead, we'd most likely have much better stats.

You can only play against the teams on your schedule. The stats are what they are at this point.

** Left tackle Ryan Clady has not allowed a full sack in his career (19 games). According to Stats Inc., that's currently the longest streak in the NFL. The Broncos have allowed only three sacks this season and allowed a league-low 12 last year. By the way, Clady held Oakland's Richard Seymour and Cincinnati's Antwan Odom, the current league sack leader, without sacks so far this year.
Calling it now

Ware kills that and his sackless streak on Sunday.

I just watched the raiders broncos game. I have the browns raiders downloading and will watch it later.

A couple of things that stand out about denver.

Both of their kickers are outstanding.

The backs put the ball on the ground alot. Moreno fumbled once in the redzone and recovered, buckhalter fumbled once and lost it and moreno came within a hair of fumbling two more times but was ruled down.

There were some large holes to run through on the denver D, but the raiders line did a poor job of blocking on the second level and could not spring their backs.

The oakland defensive line rushing only four did a good job of pushing the lineman into orton. Orton is getting rid of the ball immediately.

Denver did a good job of blocking on the second level, they are turning the corner and opening lanes for their backs very well.

Denver got away with two illegal contacts on interceptions in the first half, I have no idea how they were not called.

Jamarcus russell had a lot of time to throw the ball but really struggles to see the field and read the defense.

the only reason orton doesnt have an interception thrown is because Michael huff dropped it. Orton threw it right to him in the endzone.

The raiders had their hands on orton when he tried to hold the ball and go down the field, but couldnt bring him down.

I'm not sure what the butthurt is all about.

Orton hasn't thrown an INT in forever; Clady hasn't given up a sack in forever. Obviously, those streaks will end sooner or later. But given the trend of both Orton/Clady, and the fact that it took us to the 3rd game to notch a sack and an INT.... its not all that difficult to understand why a Bronco fan is predicting neither will happen.

I think Ware ends the streak, but I'm basing that off of Ware's complete body of work. If I was going off his play thus far this season, then I probably wouldn't predict that.

The int were both legit. The first play DHB got his feet caught up with goodman and fell. FYI that is not illegal contact. The secon was a terrible throw by JR that DHB had no shot at. Moreno fumbled after he crossed the goal line. we have only 1 offensive turnover.

You have one turnover because you recovered moreno's fumble and huff dropped a ball thrown right to him.

If those things continue they go the other way.

That second throw from russell was horrible, but there was still contact and their can not be. The first one did look like they got tangled up, but that is just a judgement call and we have all seen it go either way.

That is what your supposed to do is recover a fumble. How many DB's drop int every week. That is why you don't get an int just by it hitting your hands. Same applies for a catch. I thought you guys in texas knew your football?

wow. You dont really follow along well do you?

There is a stat for fumbles lost and fumbles recovered. From what I saw from the oakland game, your backs put the ball on the ground alot.

Moreno fumbled on second down on the opening drive in the redzone. Yes you recovered it, but if that were too continue, the odds are stacked against recovering them.

And that was my point. ANd the same applies to orton, He made a terrible read and throw, he happened to luck out that huff simply dropped the ball. I would be willing to bet if he makes that same error 10 times, he gets picked 9 times.

and those were in the red zone. When you play better football teams redzone mistakes becoming a glaring problem.
