T.O.'s words for the day

I thought the question was pretty simple: Terrell Owens, how will having a year under your belt in Jason Garrett's system help the offense as a whole. And T.O., being the entertainer he is, took it and ran with it.
"I'm going to use two words for you today," Owens said. "I would say last year, this offense was a little 'transfixed.' This year, Jason, he's added some new wrinkles to the offense. And so the offense will be a little more 'contoured' this year. So those are the words for the days, 'transfixed' as it was last year, and 'contoured' this year."
Because this is an educational blog, and I know T.O.'s all about helping kids in that way, we're going to take his idea and run with it ourselves. Here's what Owens' words for the day ....
trans·fix
-verb (used with object), -fixed or fixt, fix·ing.
1. to make or hold motionless with amazement, awe, terror, etc.
2. to pierce through with or as if with a pointed weapon; impale.
3. to hold or fasten with or on something that pierces.
con·toured, con·tour·ing, con·tours
1. To make or shape the outline of; represent in contour.
2. To build (a road, for example) to follow the contour of the land.
So basically, expect a streamlined version of the 2007 attack.

Roy Williams got a whole lot of 1-on-1 love during today's workout. Secondary coach Dave Campo, safeties coach Brett Maxie, defensive coordinator Brian Stewart and owner/GM Jerry Jones all spent significant time chatting up the perennial Pro Bowl safety/media dartboard.
We didn't get a chance to ask Williams about those conversations or anything else. He slipped out of a back door after practice instead of dealing with the media horde.
Jerry and Wade Phillips did what they could to try to take heat off of Williams.
"I have said how much I have his back and feel strongly that Roy is a player that's going to help this team get where we want to be," Jerry said.
Wade went on a pretty good pro-Roy rant that will require you to follow the jump to read.
"I hate to see somebody get bashed, and it's kind of been a Roy Williams bash here for some reason. Roy didn't give up a deep pass last year - not one. I don't know if you could say that previously, because I wasn't here then, but he did not give up a deep pass.
"He can do better, but he was voted into the Pro Bowl. He was our second-leading tackler missing two games, so he had a lot of positive last year that I think people are overlooking.
"I think you can ask Roy and our coaches and so forth, we're going to try to improve him, along with Terence Newman, who made the Pro Bowl last year, along with Tony Romo, who made the Pro Bowl. We're working with our guys.
"When they talk to him, I guess they think he's trying to defend himself, but the guy had a pretty good season. He was on a 13-3 team. Pass defense wise, we were in the top five, and he didn't give up a big play.
"From a reasonable standpoint, I can't see all the bashing."
Can somebody please remind me of an impact play made by Williams last season?
