I think Wade is just saying that we were a good team, which we were.

Here's a question: If he said we were a team that won the division for the first time in 10 years rather than the 13-3, would that be better?

I agree he should stop saying 13-3 if only because people take it the wrong way, but I don't see where saying it necessarily means he's satisfied with not winning a playoff game.

I wonder how many people think the Music City Miracle was a good call. Because if that call hadn't happened, we wouldn't have to hear this "Can't win a playoff game" talk.

Can we at least all agree that Roy Williams belonging in the probowl last year is tautological and leave it at that? Really? We're delirious for believing something that's true by definition?

It's a good thing Landry didn't get fired after his first 5-6 seasons. Personally I think Wade deserves a shot which he probably won't get if he doesn't make some playoff noise.

there's a whole lot of moving parts in this that only the actual course of events will drive what happens in the end. if wade wins it all he goes into the new stadium as our latest "greatest coach ever!" we'll debate about for the rest of our lives.

if he goes 13-3 and loses in the 1st, he's likely gone good bad or indifferent.

change is what it's all about *next* year in the new stadium and that's where the hype will be. you'll either be the man who brought it, or will bring it, but not on his 3rd strike. timing is all wrong.

nothing against wade at that point - just how the course of nature will take things.
