T.O. gives us the silent treatment

tolocker.jpg

T.O. skipped his weekly Wednesday media session, posting a laminated, typed sign in his locker to explain his absence. Here it is (punctuation error is his):
Dear Reporters, Due to the magnitude and high volume of questions for the Original 81 about the other 81. :laugh2: I will be taking all questions immediately following Sunday's game.
Sincerely,
Terrell Owens (autograph)
p.s. Getcha Popcorn Ready
Hmmmm ... conspiracy theorists might think that the Original 81's silence has more to do with his lack of production over the last two weeks than this weekend's matchup.

TE Jason Witten, put in the odd position of trying to read T.O.'s mind, said he thought his quotable teammate was just trying to avoid providing bulletin board material for the Patriots.

"He's going to be motivated," Witten said of T.O. "He's a competitor. He always wants to be the best on the field. He's got a big challenge this week."

Truth is, that's about the best news I could've hoped for from T.O.'s end...Just shut up and play...Hopefully, he'll rise to the occasion this time

As I said before. TO always shows up for big games. The only one I can remember that he didn't show up for and put up huge numbers was his first visit back to Philly. That, I blame that on Bledsoe not TO. It was the very next game that Bledsoe got yanked and I believe a huge part of that was the fact that he didn't like TO and prefered to wait and force things to Glenn.

Don't care what he does or does not say, I just want him to stop dropping passes.

A TO meltdown is imminent; run for your lives.

If Romo has another meltdown on the field you might just see a TO meltdown too!

Heck, if Romo has another meltdown on the field, I'm pretty sure I'd have a meltdown as well.

He was a lot closer Mon. night than most people seem to realize. I re-watched the game last night and he was regressing back to "The Player." On the field and on the sidelines.

Hopefully he's locked up in his hyperbaric chamber for the hip pointer. I hope he has a huge game.

I am not sure hwo you can say that since he was encouraging Romo the whole night.

Because he wants to stir up trouble I'm guessing. Seriously people. If TO had went off we would have some idea of what was going on. For instance look at the Todd Haley situation last year. I'm so tired of this TO is going to blow up crap. Dood, if he gets pissed it's because he's a freaking competitor. I use to do the same thing when my teams lost. Football is an emotional game and TO is a very emotional person. Stop the BS people please.

I agree. Look at the reaction to what looks like a loss on this board; imagine how it is for someone who's out there. Granted he did his share by dropping the ball, but I don't care if he gets pissed.

I love it. I'm not the biggest TO fan, but I really like the fact he's doing this. He would give a lot of stupid quotes if he were available. Maybe he's starting to figure things out.

I swear, just because he is TO, anything he does or does not do on the sidelines is interpreted negatively by the so-called media and haters.

If TO slams his helmet to the ground or is frowning, he is pissed and wants the ball himself....it's not because he was held, interfered or got a bad call; if he smiles or is by himself reflecting or focusing on what he needs to do, he is aloof and does not care about his team or Romo's bad day. You just can't win---no wonder he has a short fuse with reporters sometimes, you know all they want is to be the one who gets TO to blow up or say something really stupid.

Geez, I can expect that from the media and haters, but come on...Cowboy fans. Let's give him our support. If or when he blows up, we'll know it and we won't be having to read any subtle body language. It'll be like porn, you know it when you see it. In the meantime, get your popcorn ready!!

Smart move on TO part. Nothing needs to be said about this game until afterwards.

Noone cares if he gets pissed. As long as he can act with professionalism.
