He was a lot closer Mon. night than most people seem to realize. I re-watched the game last night and he was regressing back to "The Player." On the field and on the sidelines.

The minute Skip Bayless started ranting how Joe Torre did a ****** job and should get fired, I just tuned it out since-Sure, he's a Cowboy hater, but I'm nonetheless shocked how Torre, who's been the best MLB manager the last decade, gets unfairly torched by BSPN, when, of course, he IS the reason why the Yankess are consistently successful, despite many deficiencies on that team.

Not an opinion, just the facts.

I am a Yankee fan.
Torre has lost his effectiveness.

Since we lost in 2004 after being up 3-0 against Boston this team has consistently gone out with a wimper(not a bang... a wimper) in the first round... THREE YEARS in a row.
