The rhetoric of the defeated...

nope...all the proof I needed happened the other day when they booted his stupid thug arse.

If he was a "good" player here, there's no way they'd have cut him now.

The fact is he was a mediocre player with a ton of issues, and thats why he's gone.

Not the first silly thing I've heard you say. Probably won't be the last.

Theo, if he was as good, or better than Newman (as you suggest) then he'd still be on the roster. Period, end of story.

well he wasnt...

Then why do the stats say that he gave up the least yards per catch, around 5.4 YPC.. Even you say he was probably targetted more...

A year off, with those numbers, in a system that he wasn't familiar with... Playing the majority of time when Dallas was playing a lot of soft-zone, and Brian Stewart as the defensive coordinator, when they had no pass rush...

That is talent... Whether it is good for Dallas or not to keep him is a different issue... But pac-man is a damn good corner...

And I don't want him back. But to say he wasn't a good corner here in '08 on the field is silly.

He played OK, I agree...but it certainly wasn't worth all the drama IMO.

I'm just glad he's gone.........and he IS gone.

And you want dallas to cut Terrell Owens.... I guess he sucks as well and a mediocre WR according to your standards...

No, he was cut because he's an idiot and a true lockerroom cancer.

It has been posted, and even theogt read those stats and said they were actually quite ridiculously good... he'll confirm it for you...

I never wanted TO here, that was no secret.

However his first couple of seasons here he proved me wrong and was not only a great player, but appeared to be a pretty good teammate.

Now I think its best to move on without him. He isnt as good as he was and he clearly is part of the problem. I also think as long as he's here, the offense will feel immense pressure to try and throw the ball to him no matter what.

That is simply not true....Pacman talent-wise? Yes, he'd still be here.

Fact of the matter is, the guy is a complete loser and THAT is why he is not here. If it were only about his talent, yes, he'd still be here....but it's not just about talent when you're talking about Pacman..........he brings the word loser to a whole new level.....a level that is not acceptable to even Jerry Jones.

I just dont agree. If he was THAT good they'd find a way to deal with him.

He wasnt ever THAT good, and thats why he's gone. He isnt worth the trouble. That and we drafted two really good rookie CB's this yr as well.

You said it yourself.........."he isn't worth the trouble."

As far as his talent goes........we can agree to disagree.....the guy is good IMO.

Green Bay should get him.

The only place he could go and party there would be Apple Bee's.

Why on earth would we release him only to re-sign him? It's not like his salary was very big in '09.

PR

Same reason Cincy cut Chris Henry and then resigned him.

If it was just about talent Brad Johnson would have been released first.

Maybe they could hire Mark Chmura to keep an eye on him.
