After the first round of the American Century Championship at Lake Tahoe, Tony Romo finds himself in the lead.

Romo has 27 points in the modified stableford scoring system, leading former big league pitcher Rick Rhoden by two points. Romo finished tied for fourth in the event last year.

Cornerback Terence Newman finished with minus-14 points, tying him for 82nd.
