I am not dogging on you Big Dakota but I wonder what a "makeable" putt is....I hear it all the time....does that mean that there are "unmakeable" putts? and who is it that determines these "makeable" or not...You put me 3 feet or more from the hole and they become a lot less "makeable"...put me outside of 15 feet and they are "unmakeable"

:write: Let me think about this? Very interesting.

I never played golf because people tell me that once you play...you can't stop! And I have to use my money on other things.

Now if I had Romo's money...I would burn mine!

No problem.

Tony missed a couple of makeable puts down the stretch that cost him.

Missed some putts and terribly under threw Jeremy Roenick on an inside slant pass.

We're doomed this year.:eek::

LOL.

I have played maybe all of about 30 holes of golf in my life...I'm not very good at it, nor do I have the time/money to devote to it. So hence the question.... What is "makeable" for Tiger Woods may not be "makeable" for Zaxor

Obviously Roenick was suppose to cut in front of the caddy...the guy just can't run routes

That was never my intention. Sorry you think it was.

My intention was to point out that there are as many Romo cheerleaders as there are those who "eat there own". Not trying to balance anything out or even the sides. I was just trying to point out that the group who sits complacent and thinks Tony is just fine the way he is and are thankful he isn't Drew Henson is just as nutty as the group who can't go two seconds without saying the guy is a loser.

They are the same. Equally ridiculous, IMO.

One side sees only the faults, the other side sees none of them.

I've never said he was a bad QB. I know you aren't accusing me of such but I want to make it clear that I have never said he was a bad QB. I've given the man his due but I have also made it clear that giving the ball away and slumping in December will not cut it.
Considering all of this above it just baffles me how we were to gather all of this fine, upstanding information from this.

That was after all, your first commentary in this thread about Romo and sounds surprisingly exactly like what Idgit was talking about ("eating our own") that prompted me to jump into the discussion.

The rest has been nothing more than finger pointing at those who you claim blindly support Romo. Am I to assume those people enjoy playing with themselves and that is why it doesn't bother them the same way it does you? Or something even more sinister than that?

Help a confused man out here.

Romo finished strong, 3 birdies in the last 5 holes. But he had a double bogey which hurt him on the back nine.

He's going to win this thing one year for sure. Finished third last year and second this year.

By the time he's in his 50's, if it's still going, he'll probably be like Rhoden and win it several times.

I admire anyone who can play golf well. Tony Romo clearly can.
Romo is a modern day Jim Thorpe. Football, Basketball, Golf..... Probably several other sports he can play very well. Dude's just an athlete.

Tony needs to take this one home...in other words show that he is clutch.

Hard to do when a guy like Rhoden is retired and plays a lot more often than Romo does. Tony like most of the guys who play in the Tahoe tourney do so because they enjoy the competition this is not what they do for a living
