DMN: Blog: Tony Romo's struggles

This is funny. The guy has an 11 on 11, probably nothing more than 5 or 6 passing plays and he doesn't connect?

Hmmm, a game is 60 minutes long, and at some point during a game you may not connect with a receiver, or even on a couple of series you may not connect.

Nothing to see here, keep it moving folks....

I often make this very same observation.

When an articles states that Romo went 0-3 or 2-5 passing in team drills, I find myself asking, how often does a QB go 0-3 or 2-5 at some point during a game, especially one such as Romo who is a notoriously slow starter? It seems that most quarterbacks average about 20 passes a game, and their completions are seldom distributed evenly.

I wonder why it takes him so long to get warmed up. Hopefully it's only nervousness and with more playing time that will change.

I was at Giants camp the other day and they ended the practice on an Eli interception. Perhaps they should bench him.

Exactly.

Is Romo supposed to be perfect or something?

Yeah you didn't hear? That goes along with eating, sleeping, and breathing football 24/7 365 days a year.

Well considering Jason Campbell is All-Pro in practice per Peter King and The Washington Post, we should all be very, very worried.

Only, not so much.

Then by all accounts, Romo should have a great game tonight, because the All Pro in practice quarterback for the Skins is having a horrible night against the Jets.
