I believe he was mocking those that say that the players don't care if they are pulled from the lineup and might even use it as an excuse to take a breather, when it clearly shows that both Witten and Colombo do not like being called out like that.

If that is the intended target then I fit the bill as shown in my earlier post. I don't think it called for mocking.

I hope Wade as HC, no matter how he chooses to approach it, brings out the best in these players in 2009. That didn't appear to be the case in 2008.

Part of my point is that IMO, for the most part, we are who we are. A technique won't grossly modify that. I actually have more hope that the departure of certain personalities will make this a team more easily guided by Wade and other team leaders.

I don't like being mocked for respectful disagreement. Not because I can't take it. But mostly because of what I think it turns the board into - a forum where people mischaracterize others positions, mock them, and others respond in kind. I'd rather have thoughtful discussion.

Forgive the critical nature of this discussion. I'm just tryin to keep it real. :)

when i played when some one screwed up the whole unit got punished(off, def,sp) with up downs or something right on the spot.when you get punished it affects people different some just dont care but if it effects your teammates for your mistake(like it will in games)then you stop making those mistakes not for yourself, but for your teammates.and if somebody still doesnt care then your teammates whoop your *** till you get the message to stop being selfish. this is what i would like to see happen it builds a team first not me first mentallity.
