Wade "concerned" on Henry

Cowboys coach Wade Phillips called CB Anthony Henry's injury the "dreaded high ankle sprain.

"I say that because it's normally not an injury you come back very quickly from," he continued. "It's not a severe one, they say. Still, normally, if it's a high ankle sprain, it's four weeks. If it's not as severe it might be two weeks. I've heard of people coming back in one. We're still evaluating, but I think it'd be really iffy this week."

Of the injured players, Phillips ruled only rookie S Courtney Brown out for Monday night's game in Buffalo. He said that special teams captain Keith Davis is getting better and closer to returning, as is FB Oliver Hoyte.

With Henry's prospects of playing looking grim, Phillips said it's likely that Terence Newman will stay on the right side with Jacques Reeves remaining on the left. The coach explained that playing on the right -- away from his accustomed left corner spot -- will work to put less stress on the tendinitis in Newman's right knee.

Thank God. Even without the KO return for a touchdown, our kickoff coverage looked abysmal

bad news for our secondary. Henry our Best Cb right now is hurt and newman the original is also hurt and being forced to play.

Henry is not "better" than Newman.

He has been our best Cb thus far.. not taking anyting away from newman, That's why I said the "original".

The High Sprain knocked Julius out last season and ended Antonio Pierce's season w/ the Giants....
A High Sprain means you shoulda broke your leg but got lucky - Wade is 100% correct ...:bang2:

The fact that Henry was standing on it and not hobbling around on it appears to be a slight ankle sprain. I'm sure he will test it during the week and we go from there but I would doubt we are talking more than 1 game missed if any at all.

Gotta rest him and try and get him ready for the Pats.

Yes, I say keep him out this week against the Bills and get him ready for NE. Start Newman and Reeves and have Nate Jones play the nickle.
