DMN: Cowboys WR Williams said he appreciates Romo, but he still doesn't know his role

Like I said earlier, we might as well stay here and watch the parade in Denver sunday.

You have basically gone from thread to thread declaring nearly every denver player as better and the broncos as the better team.

Its awesome. I hope the media does the same thing.

oh and champ didnt even cover keyshawn all that well in 05 the last time we played, so you know..

Champ also had an pick six in that game. Watch out for number 24.

I have a feeling on Sunday his role will be even less definitive.
Champ is going to love covering Williams.

Champ Bailey? The old skins Champ? He's still a starter?:lmao2:

LOL.......

Look, I don't know how to say this other then straight out. We know Champ Bailey here. We played against him many times when he was with the Skins. He's not all he's being made out to be here. Champ is going to have issues dealing with RW in the run game and if you don't double cover him, he's going to have issues with him in the passing game as well.

Isn't this the same unimpressive RW that you cowboys fans were all over last year and now you are saying that we need to double cover him and champ need to worry about him in the run game. RW is not even a legit #1 WR.

hahahaha that quote reminded me of 'what's my role?' Hutchinson

lol

didn't he pretty much lose his spot on the team right after that?

Yep the same CB that has been to eight straight probowls and has been named all pro 4 times. Champ could start on any team in the NFL and is better than any DB you have on your whole squad.

hahaha yeah, I don't think Parcells took kindly to it

Yes he did, bledsoe and key had a miscommunication.

And from that mistake they set him up the rest of the game and scored on the same play.

But I know in your world that doesnt happen to broncos players.

Champ is the guy who is a shadow of his former self. Used to be pretty good. Denver is sorta the same, though able to feast on midgets.

Roy Williams has 8 reception in 3 games for 179 yards and 1 touchdown. I think Champ will be just fine against him without safety help.

interesting analogy.

Arent you the guy who said he is only concerned with the present when that theory supported the bronco's are better everywhere stance?

I mean Newman just dominated steve smith.

Steve smith is better than any offensive player you have.

By your logic what is the outcome of that?

I'm not sure who "you cowboys fans" are but no, as a matter of fact it is not. Last year, Roy came in mid season and had to try and adjust to the players and learn the offense. This year, Roy knows the offense much better and has made plays in that offense. This year, Roy Williams has 8 catches thus far and while you may think that this is not a lot, he's averaging 22.4 yards a catch, while being doubled. Every team that we have played this year has doubled Roy all over the field. This has helped all of our other WRs a great deal. Crayton is averaging 22.9 YPC, Austin 31 and Witten has 18 catches with an AYC of 9.5. You already know what our running game has produced and that is in no small part to the efforts of Roys blocking downfield.

No, you got the wrong Cowboy Fan with that "Last Year" BS.

Qb's have barely even thrown the ball champs direction this season. I wonder who has a better chance to go to the probowl this year. Champ or Williams?? Hmmmm

Pro Bowls? You are basing his greatness on pro bowls? There are tons of pro bowlers including Cowboy players who make multiple appearances. Tons who shouldn't.

Doesn't mean squat.

what a stupid freaking title...

he's not saying that he doesn't know his role as in "what the hell am I doing here", he's saying he doesn't fit into a certain "role" because his role is to do a little bit of whatever it takes to win.

They are dilberately trying to mislead the reader, they have absolutely no journalistic standards.

I am curious what do pro bowls matter? They mean nothing to me.

Not sure what your argument is here? Has a pro bowl corner never been beaten? Is that where your going with this?

Williams wants to win and willing to do what ever is asked of him. I have no problem with that additude.

Personally, I'd love to hear les of Roy Williams and see more of him making those endzone high-jump catches. Maybe if he did that his role would be better defined.

you're not one of the guys who was complaining this morning that players have to talk to the media because it's part of their job, are you?
