Loved this interview! Dez is a good dude, and IMO there is nothing "me" about this young man. He is all about the team and winning. I will never understand the mud that has been slung at him from even our own fanbase, and that includes the cut/trade him turds here on this board.

when you play the game and realize that i play with a 4-12 squad against the top teams in the game.. nobody can stop me only the game does... and madden forces u to lose some games fumbles for no reason from players that don't fumble smh.......

2 the way i play my user skills are 2nd to none if they kept up with user picks id lead the online community for all time user picks.....

u should see how many different players I'm seeing playing my style of football nobody an do what i do u can try but I'm the best period we i never lose the game forces me to lose... am I'm not stuttering on what I'm saying and i don't need the help of denver, seattle, carolina

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant recently joined The Ben & Skin Show on 105.3 The Fan to talk about a multitude of topics. Here are some highlights:
Punching a kangaroo


The Fan: Did you see the video of the kangaroo getting punched?

Dez Bryant: Aw, man. I'm not going to lie that [expletive] was funny. I was like, 'What?!' That dude, he really went up there and protect his dog. Ain't nothing wrong with that.

The Fan: What would you do in that situation? Would you square up with the kangaroo?

Dez Bryant: Man, my dog. I love you, but I gotta let him go. Whatever happen, happens.

The Fan: Were you impressed at how well that kangaroo took the punch? Because it was stunned and it kind of held its ground, right? It was like it was waiting for a counterpunch.

Dez Bryant: Right. You know I was like, 'This kangaroo finna kill both of them.' But it was like, 'You know what? I'm going to let them make it today' and he turned around and just took off running.

The Fan: Okay so when that kangaroo goes back to the other kangaroos are they making fun of him because the human stole him?

Dez Bryant: [laughing] If I was the kangaroo, I [would be like], 'Hey, let me tell y'all what just happened.' That's what I'd be telling my kangaroo buddies. 'I got hit today. I coulda whooped the guy ***, but I let him make it. Him and his dog.'

What he wants for Christmas


The Fan: Jerry [Jones] can ball on that level to get you something you don't have, hypothetically. If he came and said, 'What do you want for Christmas?' and he was allowed to what would you ask for?

Dez Bryant: Honestly just to keep on winning. That's it. I just want to keep winning.

The Fan: And a helicopter?

Dez Bryant: And a helicopter with an 'X' on the side of it. Hell yeah. That's sweet, right?

The Fan: There's a lot of talk out on the streets that your Madden game has fallen off. As good as...

Dez Bryant: That is not true. That is not true.

The Fan: That's what people are saying.

Dez Bryant: Who?

The Fan: Just the word out there is that you slipped a little bit, that your offense isn't as good as it used to be, and you're slipping on defense.

Dez Bryant: My offense is potent. Like, what is wrong with these guys? Look. If there's no name, it's no game. Check it out. I'm the best in Madden. Dez Bryant is the best in Madden in this Dallas Cowboys locker room. I am the best and I'm calling out anybody in the D-FW.

The Fan: Okay I don't want to give up anybody buy his name rhymes with Lak Mescott. That's the guy that may be talking trash about you.

Dez Bryant: Dak. Dak.

The Fan: Whoa! How'd you know?

Dez Bryant: Look, Dak don't want none of this. Dak got smashed and blitzed the other day. He didn't tell y'all about that, did he? Lucky [Whitehead] put it on him. Lucky put it on him. Yeah Dak, he got smashed and blitzed.

The Fan: Who else has skills ... besides you?

Dez Bryant: Terrance [Williams]. Terrance has pretty good damn skills, you know. Terrance can ball. ... He beat me the last time we played. I'll be honest. But he's running. He know he got lucky. He knew it was a fluke. See on this new Madden it's kinda hard to kick the field goals. I got it down now. But this was when we first got it. It's hard to kick the field goals but I'm A1 with it.

The Fan: So who does he play with?

Dez Bryant: He play with everybody. See, I'm a one-team guy. I'm playing with the Cowboys.

The Fan: How many targets do you get in a game?

Dez Bryant: Oh no I run it like our offense. Zeke get the majority of the touches. I'm going to hit you with the play action slant with Bease [Cole Beasley] coming across the middle. I got W [Williams] on the fly and sometimes me on the fly. Keep myself, you know, in the middle of the field.

I had a pair of kangaroo skin boots back in the day. Size 15, it was a big Roo.

I don't know much about kangaroos but they seem to be pretty dangerous when they are in fight mode. The guy lives around this and didn't seem to take it too far. I commend him for sticking up for his dog. I've once had to tackle a big aggressive dog that decided to take a bite at my dog in my sig pic. You never know what you will do when a situation arises.

The weird part is that the dog was free long before the guy punched him.

Something just seems odd about the video. The dog was really calm and was wearing armor then the guy punches the Roo long after the dog is free.

I wouldn't be surprised to find out that the Roo was trained. The guy is a Zoo Keeper so he could easily have access to a trained Roo somehow to stage this video. It did make him famous.
