DMN: Eagles aware of Bobby Carpenter

Philthy Eagle tricks is what this is. Build the guy up and then tear him down Sunday night.

Carpenter, yeah we're aware of him. In fact I think it's imperative that we know where he's at prior to every snap. Not knowing where a player like that is can really hurt ya. He's that type of guy. You lose sight of where he's at and you're costing yourself.

Costing how, what do you mean costing how? Costing yourself opportunities that's how.

You know what they say about the strength of a chain. I mean, you lose track of where Bobby's at and you have to start making adjustments. As long as you can pinpoint where he's at, you know exactly where to attack. What?

You think all of that stuff I said was a complement? This is Bobby Carpenter we're talking about. His own team calls him 'Barbie' for crying out loud. "Costing how" he says........oh that's rich.

Carpenter has more sacks on the season than Spencer does.

HAHAHAHAHAHA

Dude makes one play and he's a superstar.

Looks to me like the "dude" has actually found his niche, a role that suits him, and is performing that role quite capably...

Is he playing like the first round pick he once was?? No, but he is playing a solid role for this team... and that's good enough for me, for now...

Yeah, I learned that one the hard way :

Ahhhh, so your natural pessimism comes from bitter experience... suddenly, things become clear... :D

You can't stop him you can only hope to contain him!!!

Really, you can't even hope for that... the best you can hope for is that he's in a mellow mood, and doesn't hurt too many of your players... I've heard that smart opposing coaches have taken to hiring a hooker and sending her to his room the night before the game, in the hope that he'll be a) happy, and b) exhausted for the game...

I'm going along with your concept Hoofbite!

I just don't see the threat in a Bob Carpenter LB. I think crafty Marty is up to some smoke-screening strategy. He's probably way more interested in a
Keith Brooking, LB if anything.

Sunday will tell the story.

Be scared for the sanity of Andy Reid's lapdog, Eagle fans.

Uhhhh, is it possible for a man without a lap to have a lapdog??

1 sack in the last 2 games, what an animal!

He's an ILB ... 8 tackles last game in a backup role isn't too bad.

He can rest on his tummy table.
