DMN: Felix Jones will no longer return kicks

IF Felix Jones isn't going to return kicks, then we used a mid-first round pick on a part time RB who touches the football less than 10 times a game.

As much as we were all enamored with him, unless he is currently injured, then that first round pick isn't exactly giving big returns yet...a fourth round RB takes the bulk of the carries, and another fourth round pick takes some of what's left over, plays more 3rd downs than Felix, and is now maybe taking away his kick return duties.

Like it or not, Felix better pick it up this second half or next season...otherwise, that wasn't such a great selection.

I'm tempted to wonder who'd we have on the team with that #1 and two #4's if Parcells had simply done the smart thing and pulled the trigger on Steven Jackson when he had the chance, twice,....but I'm not really going to go there and get hammered for revisiting the past....at least not directly. :)

This is good news. This means he can concetrate on one thing which is being a running back.

I get the feeling Felix is going to start justifying the pick. Soon. Maybe even as soon as Green Bay.

I've already stated this, but I'd rather see Austin back there than anyone else.
I hope not. We don't need him getting injured on a kickoff return.
