A warrior's mentality doesn't require conventional thinking. It requires a belief that's so intrenched that it baffles all that's not a part of it. Conventional thinking had this team winning 1 to 8 games this year. I'm rolling with the wefense and warriors.

You should read Sun Tzu. A real warrior not an internet cliche generator.

Real warriors choose their battles wisely and avoid unnecessary fights to win the larger war.

These arguments useless same could be said the 1st snap of the playoff game. This is a young team, with an old QB that needs to follow a routine. Plus you CANNOT sit all your starters it is feasibly impossible. But for this game I would make Vaughan the 2nd string QB.

So you want to rest Weeden but not Romo? Oookkkk...

Romo is hurt, not injured. Most people at this time of year are hurt.

This team has not shown that it has the "maturity" to take a regular week off and still come back firing on all cylinders.

If we make the Super Bowl, you guys think Garrett can line up a game against Philly for that week between the NFC championship game and the Super Bowl?

I don't want us "sneaking in" to the Super Bowl because, you know "players play" and we can't be "playing scared" by taking that week off.

Who's with me?

And what if we play the starters like Indy did, with nothing to play for for, and lose the game. What does that do to the momentum. Really a no win scenerio in my view. Win a meaningless game and risk all. Can't wrap my brain around the logic here guys

There aren't any meaningless regular season games. See Giants super bowl run circa the cheatriots undefeated season. Scared money makes none.

I love you man:)
The way I say it is: "scared money can't win "

I'm done with this thread. These people can dry up a wet dream as prematurely as they come.

If I remember correctly, there is precedence with Garrett and starters playing in a meaningless game. Wasn't it Garrett's first year as head coach we played Philly in the season finale. Philly basically rested all their starters in a meaningless (for them and the Cowboys) and Garrett had Ware and the other starters going against some 3rd string OL and 3rd string QB. And the Cowboys pulled out the victory (if you really want to call it that), barely ... But , wait, it gave the team momentum going into the next year(s) and they finished 8-8 for the next three years.:)

I guess week 17 drama and Pyrrhic victories and Garrett go hand in hand.

and if we rest starters and they come out and play like poo in the wild card those same people will crucify him saying we should have kept momentum going

If we are playing our starters in the hopes for a miracle where we can, wait for it, get a first round bye and REST OUR STARTERS, where is the logic in that? Why not rest them this week when you know for sure you have a "bye" rather than fight insurmountable odds for a long shot at a bye which in essence you already have this week??

I understand the play them so we keep momentum going, but then if we had a first round bye, would we not be resting our starters??

Romo is playing the best football of his career. Garrett wants to keep that streak going. You cant play scared. Scared teams lose in the playoffs.

We have some scared defeatest fans. It's time to put your big boy pants on and roll into the playoffs; not peeping over your shoulder and around corners while hoping no one see you sneak in.

I would rather Romo be able to put his big boy pants on and play in a playoff where everything is on the line vs. risking possible injury.

I expected this from fans that don't know better but not from JG. We

Amen to that.
