DMN JJT Blog: Do you like having a sensitive head coach?

wayne could simply be playing to the camera. he knew there was a camera pointing at him all the time. he seemed pretty sad to see todd lowber go, but not long after was saying that lowber has no football instinct for the game.

that was the reason he let Lowber go...but he can still feel sad for him..they dont cancel each other out.

I thought it was more of a creation of hard knocks. He didn't sound emotional while he talked to each player.

I'm sure it's hard to tell these guys you're NFL dream with the Cowboys is over.

I certainly like the humanity of Wade better than Bill's pissy attitude, but which is most effective?

The question is whether it gets in the way of Wade doing his job. I don't think so, but the jury is still out.

I have been managing people for well over 20 years. In that time I have seen many different personalities successfully lead people. I have seen hard as*** like Bill Parcells and softies like Tony Dungy get the job done. So I do not care about Wade being sensitive. Each personality needs to build a team with their people around them, ala Parcells’ Guys and they can be succesful.

I can say that in the last few years I have seen that it has become more diffulcult to lead people aggressively. The times have changed and leaders must be a little more understanding today then 15 or 20 years ago. Especially with 20 something year old millionaire’s.

So I don't care, Just get the damn job done!
