Nope, thats life. Actions have consequences. Brown's family meant well and good for them to forgive, but actions still have consequences and Brent CLEARLY did not learn the first time, perhaps that should be a sign that he needs some real consequences before it gets through his stupid head.

Actions have consequences and he's facing them. Him being on that sideline at the request of Brown's mother doesn't make Brent escape those consequences. For the rest of his life he will have to live with knowing he was responsible for taking another man's life. And as a football player he had his dream taken away from him. If Browns' mother wanted him on the sideline and to receive support from his fellow teammates who are you and I to tell her no?

Sometimes there has to be a human element to when someone does something completely wrong. We are all so fast to rush to judgment. Maybe we should just stand back and let the courts, NFL and the Cowboys front office handle it. I hope Josh turns his life around.

Agree. I can never condone the behavior and he deserves to be punished for it, but he also deserves the chance to resume his career once that punishment is completed.

Those casting stones at Dallas' handling the situation would surely like to be treated in similar manner if it happened to them.

Problem he may have is that he is not a star player he is a guy who needs the reps he can't afford to miss time. He was a late rd pick with decent talent nothing special but there are a lot of kids coming out of college and UDFA who have decent talent. It is one thing when a guy like Irvin messes up it is another when as people say around here a JAG gets into trouble.

Yes, he might not be able to resume his career when he finishes his punishment, but he still should be given the opportunity to try.

I'd have no problem if Dallas kept him on a reserve-suspended list and then brought him back to camp when his suspension/sentence is completed.

If he shows during that duration that he doesn't deserve a second chance, then cut him.
