Brandon Carr on playing safety: "I can see myself doing whatever it takes, as long as at the end of the game we've got the most points."

Playing safety means more work at practice for Brandon Carr. His response: "That's fine. I like to work. They pay me enough to work."

Brandon Carr: "This is how we should be playing the whole year. That wasn't the Cowboys defense last week."
-------------------------------------------

Barry Church on Achilles injury: "I probably won’t be back for the remainder of the season. Definitely tough, definitely a heart-breaker."
---------------------------------------------

O-line had 5 penalties Sun. Ryan Cook: "We took a step back in that regard today. Playing at home, you can’t have those sorts of mistakes."
--------------------------------------------

Tony Romo: "We’ve played better as a team and lost. To win the game the way we did today really excites me."
-------------------------------------------

Garrett: "When you don’t have your best fastball, you’ve got to find a way to win. I thought this was a pretty good illustration of that."

Rob Ryan said he didn't know if Carr would continue playing safety. "We're going to have to look. We’ve got to do what’s best for the team"

----------------------------------------------------

Jason Hatcher on Josh Brent: "He's a Jay Ratliff-caliber player in the run game. He's hard to move. He's been ready to play."
---------------------------------------------------

Dez Bryant on Tony Romo: "That guy is a monster. Some quarterbacks take hits like that and probably wouldn't want to get back in the game."
---------------------------------------------------

Sean Lee: "We were frustrated with last week (in Seattle). We needed to find a way to play a complete game and I think all units did that."
-----------------------------------------------------

Claiborne: "When (the offense gets) in rhythm, those guys can go. You seen that the1st week. We just have to try to have each others backs."
----------------------------------------------------

Jerry Jones: "We all know that theres a lot to work on here. But the good news is we won one doing a lot of things that can cause u to lose"

Jerry Jones on the defense: "They bailed us out. Just one of the best days. Our defense was outstanding all day and arguably won the game."
-------------------------------------------------------

Garrett on Witten: "There was a stretch of about 4 weeks where he didn't practice. ... We are going to keep giving him opportunities."

Miles Austin on Witten: "No one is going to be more critical about his game than him. I have no concerns at all. We're lucky to have him."

Tony Romo: "We’ve played better as a team and lost. To win the game the way we did today really excites me."

This ought to go over like a wet fart in church.

This here is a pretty mature comment. Some games the D is great. Some games the O has it going. Some games both.

If your D can win you a couple of games, it can mean everything to your season. Last year this is a game we certainly would have lost

i love carr's attitude. talk about rkg.

and he can play, too.

:)

You just have to look at Philly's season to see where they'd be without those two one-point wins. By December, nobody's going to remember how close they came to being effectively eliminated in the first quarter of the season.

why doesnt Garrett give Phillips and Hanna some chances, they have shown that they can catch .Its the same situation with Demarco murray last year,we didnt play him till we were forced to do it,Phillips is not going to stick around when he knows he will not be used at all.

Or any of the players for that matter! :laugh2:

I actually played around with a 'wet fart on Church' version of that post, but decided it was too gross. So I went with something classy, instead.
