What on the field things would you consider questionable?

Irvin's team history is well-documented and I don't care to parse and splice it for on-field vs off-field. It is what it is.

Off the field is big difference than being accused of cheating....He has a right to be mad

If your off-the field antics impact your on-field performance, that can be just as egregious..

I like Mike. I really do. I just can't get up for his self-righteousness over something like this when every time he speaks, I can see the many skeletons still chilling in his closet.

His team history is that he worked his butt off all the way to the Hall Of Fame and was a team leader. On the field he didn't do anything bad. Let's keep it to that. He didn't cheat on the field which is the point of what he is talking about.

What off-the field antics gave him a competitive advantage on the field? If anything, from what I have read, it should have presented more of a disadvantage.

Cheating and not cheating are vastly different than being a distraction off the field.

Not even close.

Well, perhaps you can break it down to my level. Because, in all honesty, I have not read or heard anything he did that would be construed as giving him a competitive advantage.

Nah, I'll pass..

I don't think what I'm saying is really that complicated.

I understand. It's the same reason people knock Ray Lewis for all his bloviations after the trouble he got into.

To me, Mike can be annoying on TV as well, but being accused of cheating is worth getting mad about.

You probably should because you've painted yourself in a corner IMO.

Not really.. I've said my opinion and I don't think it's that difficult to understand. People want to parse up on-field behavior vs off-field behavior. If you've done dirt to muddy up your character, then I'm going to side-eye you every time. Same as I'm side-eyeing Jerry Rice.

You're equating Ray Lewis and what he did to Irvin. Are you serious?
