Tommy 'The Terror' Ferguson
Randolph '6-Toes' Johnson
and
Doodlebug Taylor.

I hear ol' 6-Toes has a quick first step off the line... The Terror suffers from Turrets syndrome... and Doodlebug is known for hiding candy bars under his man boobs during games.

Good to know... care to drop any names to watch for this coming college season?

Garrett being the top dog thus far, there are many more but here are some top prospects.

    • http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/college/TexasAM_logo.gif Myles Garrett*, DE, Texas A&M
      Height: 6-5. Weight: 255.
      Projected 40 Time: 4.60.
      Projected Round (2017): Top-10 Pick.

4/22/16: Immediately after arriving at Texas A&M, Garrett began dominating college football. In 2015, he had 59 tackles with 12.5 sacks, 19.5 tackles for a loss, five forced fumbles, two passes batted and an interception. Garrett has blinding speed off the edge and is a natural pass-rusher. He could be the best prospect in college football and could have been in the running for the No. 1-overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft if he had been able to declare.

Garrett (6-5, 260) took college football by storm in 2014 as he was an impact-making defender for the Aggies from Day 1. The fast and athletic Garrett was a force on the edge as a quarterback hunter. He had 11.5 sacks with 53 tackles and 14 for a loss. That sack total broke the NCAA freshman record previously set by Jadeveon Clowney.

    • http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/college/Tennessee_logo.gif Derek Barnett*, DE, Tennessee
      Height: 6-3. Weight: 268.
      Projected 40 Time: 4.75.
      Projected Round (2017): 1-2.

4/22/16: In 2015, Barnett had 69 tackles with 12.5 for a loss and 10 sacks. He is a fast edge defender who is a natural pass-rusher. Barnett notched 10 sacks as a freshman and was extremely impressive for the Volunteers. He also added 72 tackles with 20.5 tackles for a loss. Barnett (6-3, 268) set freshman records at Tennessee and clearly has a lot of upside.

    • http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/college/Alabama_logo.gif Jonathan Allen, DE, Alabama
      Height: 6-3. Weight: 264.
      Projected 40 Time: 4.76.
      Projected Round (2017): 1-2.

4/22/16: Allen played really well in 2015 with 36 tackles with 14.5 for a loss, 12 sacks, two forced fumbles and four passes batted. He totaled 33 tackles with 11.5 for a loss and 5.5 sacks the year before.

In a 4-3 scheme, Allen could play end and move inside in passing situations. He also could serve as a rush linebacker or five-technique defensive end in a 3-4 defense. Allen has some natural pass-rushing skills to him along with quickness and strength.

    • http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/college/Missouri_logo.gif Charles Harris, DE/OLB, Missouri
      Height: 6-3. Weight: 235.
      Projected 40 Time: 4.77.
      Projected Round (2017): 1-3.

4/22/16: Harris (6-3, 235) is a speedy edge rusher who broke out in 2015 with 56 tackles, 18.5 tackles for a loss, seven sacks and two forced fumbles. He was a backup as a redshirt freshman in 2014 and notched two sacks. Harris needs to add weight for the NFL.

    • http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/college/LSU_logo.gif Lewis Neal, DE, LSU
      Height: 6-2. Weight: 264.
      Projected 40 Time: 4.65.
      Projected Round (2017): 2-4.

4/22/16: The Tigers' defense didn't generate the headlines of the offense in 2015, but there was some good NFL talent on the LSU defense with Neal being the program's top edge rusher. He was a serious pass-rushing presence off the edge, recording eight sacks. Neal also had 48 tackles and six passes batted. The 6-foot-2, 264-pounder is a dangerous edge rusher who looks like he has upside to develop.

The Eagles did that very thing this year. They moved up to #2 to draft Wentz based on what they feel will be fewer quarterback options in upcoming drafts.

No. They did it because Sam Bradford sucks, and they need to (as quickly as possible) try to get beyond the carnival Chip Kelly created there last year, with something that will restore & reinvigorate the team and fanbase.

You should tell that to the man who actually made the trade:

"Yeah, that's the only way you can make this trade, is to be really comfortable with both of those guys. We've spent a ton of time investigating these guys. Looking, as well, as what's out there going forward. Looking at the quarterback market not only this year, next year, in 2018 ... and understanding that, although this [trade] doesn't fit an immediate need, that this is a rare opportunity that we're in.

Little does Moore know that the edge rusher class is loaded next year as well.

beat me to it....was going to post, if no player is considered a top 10 player in this draft if they were in any other dtaft...then why not wait on any player, DE, S, CB until next year.
crap let's just trade all our picks this year and get all top picks next year.

That would be- reasoning why a pick was selected, essentially after it's made
NOT
deliberately choosing to not pick a player/position because next year offers a better crop.
There is a difference. The former is common, reasonable practice. The latter is what doesn't happen and won't ever.

Screw the RB next year. Next year is when we need to trade up and take the QB high. We lost out this year, so take the RB, and then QB next year. Although I love Perine from Oklahoma!!

Thanks for this... I don't usually get a jump on the college level this early... great info.

Why would a handful of possible top 10 running backs in next year's draft have anything to do with a team that doesn't plan on drafting in the top 10 again next year?

A deep RB draft next year doesn't mean any of them are better than Elliott.
