Palmer is getting up there in age and he had a pretty good year last year. It could happen...Why so negative?
Will McClay hasn't even started scrounging the pool halls yet!

Not negative, just showing what happened in 2014 when Romo was healthy, Murray was our rb having a career year (not a rookie rb). I just don't see Romo having a career year while staying healthy.

No can do. We will end up forcing a pick at DE in Bosa. You might as well just etch that in stone right now.

Bosa - Hardy - #4 overall pick = worse team. Both now and in the future. And don't let any snake oil salesman try to tell you otherwise.

Forcing the Bosa pick only limits the options. It eliminates considering Ramsey for the secondary, a QB of the future, a player many have wanted in Myles Jack or even a back like Elliott who might actually be a better player. Heaven forbid Bosa goes before Dallas choice. I can only imagine the fumbling about in the war room.

But the snake oil salesman will not have to work too hard convincing most of the fanbase that the team is better. There are a bunch of fans who already want to draft for need anyways.

Yeah, it's gonna be great!

Draft a strong side defensive end at #4 overall and move your team into the quarterback 'have nots' category for the next several years and go back to the days of rummaging through failed baseball players again hoping to cheat the system and find one.

Then tell Demarcus Lawrence and his damaged back to flip-flop back over to the weakside and hope that his productivity isn't negatively affected.

And then hope that Bosa somehow avoids the well-established fact that rookie pass rushers don't do much when they enter the league.

This team is going nowhere with or without Elliott The future qb is all that matters, myself want one of the 2 qb's. This is a deep rb class, can find one in 2nd round or later.

When I listen to Brugler and Broadus they come across as they know that the Cowboys have no interest in a QB with the #4 pick.

It's bizarre.

They just better hope that neither guy is good if they are available because passing on a quality QB is absolutely unforgivable.

Like Garrett or Wade Wilson would know a good quarterback if one fell on 'em!

Look at who these clowns have brought in since they've been here. That shows exactly how much they know about finding or developing a quarterback. So ask those two dummies what they think and then do the opposite! Problem solved.

When was the last full season Manning played...When was the last full season Palmer played? I thought so.
Romo will play and we hope all season. Any QB can be hurt...just look at the league last year.

I've been hoping the entire time there was some way Hardy could return as we are desperate for DL talent. But it seems he was so destructive last season, even the team that stuck it's neck out for him last year taking the PR hit has decided it's not worth it to continue the relationship. No one is ragging on him, it's just apparent he burned maybe one of the few bridges he has left in the NFL. Now ultimately talent prevails so he'll get a shot somewhere but not on favorable terms it seems...

hard to say. hardy has been polarizing since he got here and while i do wish that would end, i also know from following any sports team long enough it won't matter. he does - the "rag on the player" crowd comes out. faces can change it seems, sure. but no matter who is where there's always a handful of players that bring out hate for someone they likely have never met.

just odd to me but maybe 15 years ago it wasn't. hard to say.

Manning was an Iron Man prior to last year, other than his one year off for the neck surgery. The same for Brady, and Brees, and all of the other Super Bowl winning quarterbacks. By comparison, Romo has missed 27 games since becoming Dallas' starter.

And don't think I didn't notice that you failed to answer my question and chose instead to try to deflect.

Romo loves to land on his shoulder (collarbone). It will happen again.

It seems to happen when he is caught in mid spin move when he avoids the rush, etc. I love Romo but realistically this should be a need position with all the variables added up.

I think it would be foolish for the organization NOT to bring Hardy back.

Last year was a disaster and it wasn't because of Hardy whose history was used by certain media elements only to pile the negativity on.

The team never got the opportunity to see the real, on-the-field Hardy except intermittently (due to coaching, injuries, or whatever) and it would be stupid to make organizational decisions based on what often seems to be willfully malignant directed media coverage.

Ironic as it sounds, this article actually gives me hope that he might actually be coming back.

Patience...weren't we at this point last year also, wondering what to do about DE. Some People panicked, others, well, panicked, a few said they was not in a panic, but they were.
Then relief, Hardy was signed, Gregory was drafted, Russell was drafted.

Now same thing, Lawrence coming off. Back surgery, Gregory 4 game suspension. Don't know what we have in Russell, Mincey waiting in the wings to be signed, people now don't want Hardy. No other FA's out there, and more do not want Bosa than the ones that do want him.

Draft Elliot, keep the defense off the field.....so no need to panic....

Russell.

hahahaha.

Mincey.

hahahahaha.

But people should keep deluding themselves into thinking we don't need any real talent on defense, specifically in the pass rush, thinking that a running game is the key.

To answer your question Romo has been hurt though not in every year. He has had issues with his back and twice with the
collar bone. Hopefully, the collar bone issue is now behind us and Romo said that his back is feeling better and stronger than
it has in 3 years. The facts are that we will either win with Romo or suck without him. No rookie QB is going to save a season
his first year.

That still didn't answer the question. What was Romo's last full season played?

I see the guy trying to avoid injuring his back again and landing on his shoulder and injuring his collarbone as a result.

I don't think you know what went on behind closed doors. From all indications, Garrett does not seem to want him back.
