Actually, you're more likely to blow your fingers off in rocket science than football.

Yeah, but in rocket science you're usually doing something smart and science-y, not something dumb like JPP probably did.

Some Giants fan on one of their boards said his friend works for a surgeon and told him he lost 2 fingers and a thumb. Which is what the initial tweets were saying. And the Giants reps haven't even been able to get in and see him yet.

So who knows at this point?

It sure makes you wonder when reports are coming out that the Giant's officials that went down there left and weren't permitted to see him.

It makes things seem pretty bad. But maybe it's a brilliant ploy on his part. He might just convince them to pull the franchise tag and he'd be an unrestricted free agent. I doubt it, but man would that be a bold move.

I don't see how or why the Giants would when they're well within their rights to put him on their NFI list without pay until he shows that he's able to play.

I can't help but think that the prognosis on the injuries is worse than we're being led to believe.

I agree. The utter lack of information coming out makes it seem bad.
