Don't worry. Winning will clear all "this" up before anything develops into a problem for the team.
Oh. It's January.
Nevermind.

You're being sarcastic, but it's true. Win a playoff game and no one gives a crap about whether a player was tardy to a meeting.DallasEast;2591143 said:Don't worry. Winning will clear all "this" up before anything develops into a problem for the team.

This ridiculous sketical behavior reeks of denial.
It should not take an article like this to make someone realize there are serious serious problems with this organization, starting with the environment created by ownership.

Messenger? What was he telling us that we didn't already know other than tardiness of players? Everything else in there was already reported. He just cobbled together every negative thing he could think of.bbgun;2591147 said:Nah, much easier to vilify the messenger by impugning Watkins' motives.
theogt;2591138 said:Actually it can be. Before Jerry yelled at the media, everyone was saying Wade Phillips was gone. Before St. Louis hired Spagnuolo, everyone in the media said Garrett was a done deal.
Just because it's reported in the media doesn't mean it's true. I'm sure there there were players that were late, but the extent to which that affected anything or was a problem is up in the air.
Randy White;2591136 said:Listen man, there's a point where you have to realize that the media is not making this up. Too many people saying, pretty much, the same thing cannot all be false.
This article doesn't lay the entire blame on anybody in particular, but points the finger at the most visible figures of the organization.
I'm sorry, but I just don't believe this is made up crap.

Miss the playoffs and every little thing gets scrutinized and is "part of the problem."
There were outright reports that Garrett was offered the job. I think that's "making things up."Randy White;2591154 said:There's a difference between jumping the gun and making news up. Sure the media jump the gun with Garrett. They might have been even right and something at the last minute changed that the deal didn't go through or the sources were flat out wrong. It happens.
However, reports like this are rarely, if ever, made up. This are specifics with names, times, and places. About the only thing left is to name the source outright, which will never happen nor should it ever happen.
BUT, I have a simple solution for this particular problem. Starting this offseason, all meeting hall's doors will be locked at the exact time that the meetings are supposed to start. If you're not at the meeting, and you don't have a valid execuse such as: you're in the hospital, your family member is in the hospital, or you're involved in an accident, you will NOT participate in the meeting. Since you did not participate in the meeting, you will not only be fined a substancial sum of money, but you will NOT participate in practice ( during the season ) therefor you will NOT play in the game. I DON'T CARE WHO YOU ARE !
Please, you're barking up the wrong tree. Did I say any of it was a lie? No, of course not.Alexander;2591158 said:If the tardiness was the only thing you got from this article, then you are really burying your head in the sand.
Sorry, but your QB acting "offended" when he gets criticized by his coach is not "every little thing". Neither is the owner refusing to adjust the fine amounts at the request of his head coach (why should he have to ask, anyways?).
But I forget. According to you, it is all supposition and lies made up by Calvin Watkins.
I mean, he must really have an active imagination eh?

Well, I guess things should have turned out differently this season. If so, the media would have cowed themselves into not saying anything whatsoever about any player, coach and/or Jerry Jones after each and every victory. Yes. That's what has happened in the past when the Dallas Cowboys have won in the postseason.theogt;2591146 said:You're being sarcastic, but it's true. Only Jerra is in charge and the players know it and they take advantage of it.

I honestly have no idea whether it happens or not. People are late all the time for different things in the world I live in, so it wouldn't surprise me.ZeroClub;2591169 said:There are a lot of fans who operate under the assumption that successful teams are focused and disciplined teams ... the kind that wouldn't have significant issues with tardiness.
I assume that too, actually.
But maybe it isn't. Could be that the Patriots, Colts, Giants, Steelers have lots of players arrive late for practice. I doubt it, but it could be.
