What? Banned you say?

But he was a great poster who always talked only about the discussion topics and his insight into such issues was genius at the very least.

:lmao2:

I saw his last post. Best not to call someone a "pathetic liar" in public.

This stuff makes me nuts. It's so easy to verify the late flights, and sources about the fines and lateness to meetings. The story about Romo's picks in practice I think is a small one, but it's one that's been reported before.

What really gets me is that these things are all the types of things that Parcels crazy rules take care of. Big fines for being late. No players or coaches talking to the media. In-fighting between squads was a plus under Parcels if it could be used to motivate players. We have the blueprint for doing this stuff right, and there's no excuse for getting rid of it when you change coaching regimes.

Can you imagine what Jimmy would do to a player who was an hour late for a game flight?

I hope more of this keeps coming out and fans finally get sick of it. It is a disgrace to a team i care so much about. Jerry needs to hire a strong minded coach and get the (bleep) out of the way.

For the first time in a long time, I'm proud of my fellow Cowboy fans. We are finally in agreement that this failed season belonged to more than just 1 person.

Everything starts at the top and basically filters down to the Coaching staff, which obviously has no cohesiveness, down to the players who come off as selfish and spoiled.

For this, I say Jerry needs to step down, but since that won't happen, he needs to get a coach in here with skins on the wall. Someone who will take control of this team by the neck, clean out the locker room of anyone who's going to be a problem, get structure in this organization.

Along with that, this coach needs to be a great game day play caller, very organized and disciplined. Someone who is meticulous with route running, and the small things that separate the 5&11 teams from the playoff super bowl contenders.

Then hire his own coaches, coaches whom he trusts. And get this thing back in motion before it explodes all together.

Don't worry; they'll find a way. Why oh why did this story have to break on the same day "5countem5" was banned? He almost had me going with the "our locker room is a sea of tranquility" BS.

Dang, i missed that, but a great day nonetheless. :):):):):):)

Sure there are. Like transportation and the like. Construction as well. I just think its ******** how that mindset has invaded every aspect of our lives.

Yeah, but the team charter leaving an hour late for Philly? I mean a win and in game and guys are showing up when they damn well please?

That's ******** way to the other end of the spectrum.

That plane should have left well before the hour was up. Jerry is a punk.

Depends on whether or not the guy was actually in his playing rotation.

Johnson was a bully who picked on those he could get away with and for some reason people thought that made him a psychological mastermind. As if a psychology degree is worth a damn.

That's what Jimmy did when Michael Irvin was late for that flight to Detroit. No exceptions.

Being late is overrated. Industrial america's fascination on 5 minutes is silly IMO. What concerns me is Garrett and Wade being unable to control practice. it kind of jives with what went on in the playoff game with Romo waving off the punt team.

It looks to me that Romo needs to be put in his place. I don't think the coaches we have can do it.

welcome to the real world......grown folks with jobs have to be responsible....especially if others are involved...its selfish to assume that 5 minutes dont mean anything ..others may have a more complex schedule than yours and 5 minutes could mean money to them....you have no right to control their schedule by being late......

and you say it concerns you that Wade and Garrett are unable to control practice.....any team play, business function , or military operation requires discipline and timing.....well youve already said timing is over rated so that kinda screws the rest of the order

Yeah. I almost qualified that, but didn't Jimmy leave for home after a game when Michael was 5 min late at one point?

This, more than anything else, is indicative of the team's most profound problem.

Yep. Coach Jones. He needs to just get it over with already and name himself head coach.

I feel bad for some fans. It's like they chose a side when the season ended and they just won't admit defeat and join the side that can see clearly.

We have never heard about T.O. being late for meetings on a bunch of occasions. We have never heard specifics about the teams charter being late to take off for five away games. We have never heard that the fines were reduced to an amount that means nothing to these players.

We definitely didn't hear about Terrell Owens being late for a meeting during the prep week for the Eagles game in Philly.

So it would seem T.O. was harping about there being spies and rats and in reality he was lucky that these spies and rats didn't do a better job of outing him. That Werder article had some quote about him doing whatever he wanted and from this info it would seem that this is the truth.

But more importantly. Most of us aren't surprised at all by this article.

We are more surprised that there are still fans in denial about what this team really is these days.

And that there are fans still saying the media is making stuff up or that they are out to get us.

Those fans are spending their time trying to give this team excuses which is the exact reason this team sucked this season.

We all love the Cowboys. Let's all say it together. We all love the Dallas Cowboys.

It's not ok that they are what they are though.

And I hope Jerry Jones realizes this before it's too late. If it isn't already because I for one didn't enjoy the 5-11 season too much.

And to the fans who still want to believe that nothing is amiss and that everything is going to be alright I give you this...

Articles like this make me wish the that man had stayed one more year to see if he could gotten us over the hump.

At least when he was here we had some respect from the rest of the league.

That loss in Seattle was brutal because of the way it ended on a fluke play.

But it wasn't as brutal as watching the Giants loss where we were more than just favorites to win the game.

And it wasn't as brutal as watching this team slowly unravel into whatever this is nowadays where we can't even make the playoffs.

This flag outside Valley Ranch should look like this...

The Dallas Cowboys as an organization are clearly in distress whether you want to believe it or not.
