I'll take it. He probably wouldn't have played this week, anyway. Of course I'd rather have him eligible to play against the Eagles, but I'd much rather have him able to practice for a few weeks before coming back against the Giants than have him coming back for that game with just a short week of practice.

Not just the new defense, but to get a feel for his teammates on the field, too.

I actually think this is a great compromise. He gets to practice w/the team; the team gets a two-week roster exemption for him; and they don't have to pay him.

you know, if tank wouldn't have put himself in this position it wouldn't be an issue. so why in THE HELL is it cowboys hate when he's simply enforcing the entire suspension OFWHICH isn't much of a surprise?

I agree. I'm glad Tank is coming but I can't blame the league office for the action of Tank.

He would have needed to practice with the team for at least a week or so before they could play him at all. This way he gets time to get used to the team and they get used to him. He should hit the ground running against the Giants.
