Compared to Harlem or the South side of LA, no, Dallas doesnt have a "ghetto" persay. But West Dallas is as Ghetto as it gets in Dallas.

And sorry that you are dumbfounded, but its the truth.

Bull ****...

1300 N Hampton Road is North Oakcliff, that is over there by Sylvian Avenue right by I-30 real close to downtown.

My co-worker has a house over there that is consider the "rich" part of Oakcliff and Laura Miller has a house over out that way.

Hampton runs all over the place, but if we are talking about right just south of I-30...that is not the Ghetto.

As a matter of fact, they have a special name for that part of town but the name escapes me at the moment.

Oh as far as that comment is concerned, I am just glad you made it because I know where you stand now.

I hope I never ever have to interview with you or anything like that cuz now I know I probably wont be getting the job :D .

That's right. Why sio defensive?

Where am I 'limiting" here? The implication was folks who wear do-rags deserve to be hassled. I say that's hog wash.

I know one thing..it all works out in my household.

Because I have been driving for 25 years and NEVER gotten a ticket.

Last time I was stopped was for driving thru a red light, passing on the right, speeding, and not wearing a seat belt. But since I was on my way to work to the school where our officers do their criminal justice degrees, I got a pass. And a ton of smiles, and jokes.

Walk in the shoes of a middle-aged white woman college professor sometime.

I'd have to shoot the President to get cuffed.

not gonna derail this on social issues w/you latuna. i wasn't defensive, just pointing out another view. we've all got stories of mistreatment in our lives and i'm sure those stories scatter a broad spectrum of true reasons why.

You are less likely to get cuffed because you are less likely to pull a gun on the cop who pulled you over....

The simple fact is, when was the last time you saw a cop shooting involving a middle aged white woman? Now, when was the last time you saw that incident involving a black man?

The news media, do they go and get all those guys license plate numbers and their friends too, and just follow them around all the time?
Now I know why Irvin would not put that stuff in his trash, because of the people that would go thru his trash, the media is included.
After midnight or 1 am, the lobby is closed and only the drive thru is open. I have urinated many times on dumpsters, back of buildings, on the side of the rode, trees, etc.
It is no big deal, if he was intoxicated, then he had to go bad, and he had held it as long as he could, I've been there back when I use to drink.
It is no big deal, and Parcells should not even think twice about saying anything to Glenn about it, I'm sure Glenn will apologize to organization, Parcells and the team.

I guess I don't get it.

Just because others have done it, it makes it okay to urinate in public? Not in my book, sorry. I don't care how much money he makes. I don't care how much he has had to drink. He can still find a restroom and take care of business.

I guess some people enjoy living in a society where public urination is the norm. I realize it's a fact of life it happens. That doesn't excuse it and it certainly doesn't make it acceptable. No matter how bad you have to go.

Bottom line it was stupid.

No, it's been granted a couple continuances. Felony charges don't just dissipate into the atmosphere. Sooner or later, you gotta face the music.

There has been talk of the prosecution dropping the case. Maybe it'll go to trial.

But you and I know superstar athletes just get slaps on the wrist, look at Jamal Lewis.

I'm sure if Taylor gets sent to jail it'll be for a minimal peroid. Not worried about it at all.

1: Sean Taylor isnt half the star or the player Jamal Lewis is

2: Lewis solicitated drugs, Sean Taylor shot at somebody. From someone who has 2 criminal lawyers in his family, trust me when I say any situation involving the use of a firearm against others doesnt just "go away" or just get you a slap on the wrist. If it goes to trial, the man will be facing up to 5 years in prison.

Yup, we all do have 'stories' of mistreatment.

All of us, but are they based on race?

I vowed to myself long ago to be intellectually honest enough to admit that all my life I have benefited from white privilege..the open door policy that afford me so many commonplace dignities, whether they be never having my credit card signature checked, walking into a department store with a handbag large enough to stuff a 9 inch tv into and NOT being obviously followed by store ***** (as opposed to when I'm shopping with a black gf...we know she has to take a wallet that I can stash in my purse or it's constant gumshoe tracking), having folks automaticaly expect that I 'earned" my lot in life, or just listening to me as though I had something to say worth hearing.

White privilege. Nothing special.

No big deal.

Lest you don't have it.

And those shoes are the ones we should ALL experience walking in for a few days.

Hey people... we got to understand, we as Dallas Cowboys, im talking about the fans, players, and the whole organization that people always hear things about how Cowboys players got in trouble in the past, even with the former players in Irvin, Newton, Sherman Williams, and a whole lot of other players....and you know the NFL probably have some problems with people that is gay, I hope im not offending nobody that is, but the point is it's getting out of hand, im talking about really out of hand with these allegations...

My question to all this madness is..

Why would another man, look at someone peeing on the side of a dumpster?

who do you got telling you this news Johnnie Morton?

We don't even know if it is true or not...

Did anybody just sit down to think, what did Terry Glenn say?

I want to hear it from the horses mouth... not some feminine male from rainbow television reporting rumors about Terry Glenn peeing on the side of a dumpster....
