I've seen Carden play live this season. Not that impressive. He had a great group of wide-outs. He looked horrible at the Senior Bowl running a pro offense. No thanks for me.

yeah. I like him personally...his mental make-up is good.
But he has a funny looking delivery, and average arm, and although they go deep more than Texas Tech did, he is to some degree a product of that air-raid offense.

By signing Brandon Weeden last year, the Cowboys proved they would take low-cost fliers on former first round picks that washed out with their original teams.

So having said that, I think there's a chance they kick the tires on free agents-to-be Christian Ponder or Jake Locker. Maybe they can turn into something in 3 to 4 years.

No clue. I'm no draftnik, at all. I barely keep up with the school I graduated from, even though I'm "diehard." lol

I do think they should look hard at QB in the middle rounds, tho.

University of Houston? Are you a Cougar?

I'm underwhelmed by the QB group coming out this year.

I don't think the Cowboys spend a draft pick on one.

Romo was undrafted in 2003. Here are the QB's (in order) that were drafted:

1. Carson Palmer
2. Byron Leftwich
3. Kyle Boller
4. Rex Grossman
5. Dave Ragone
6. Chris Simms
7. Seneca Wallace
8. Brian St. Pierre
9. Drew Henson
10. Brooks Bollinger
11. Kliff Kingsbury
12. Gibran Hamdan
13. Ken Dorsey

True then again this past SB saw a former 3rd and 6th rd QB's playing in the SB. lol

I think it's far more likely a future quarterback is undrafted rather than drafted in 4-6. We have so much more data on all the draftable quarterbacks now.

Cardale Jones, next year.

I want our next QB to be in the mold of a big Ben type: size, rocket arm, enough athleticism to run for first downs and escape the rush, and the poise he showed in the three biggest games of the Buckeyes season cannot be ignored.

If I could pick any QB, and I have said this at least 100 times, I know, it has got to be Christian Hackenberg.

Mike Glennon can be had for a 4th from TB.

That guy has a ton of talent. I would love to see him here.

We work on his accuracy and we strike gold.

That might work as the QB we would potentially take would be around a 4th. I personally would take somebody with my 4th instead.

Is Bo Wallace considered a late round pick? I wouldn't mind him, he took it to Alabama last year.
