Do not be surprised if the free agent RB we sign is McFadden

Darren McFadden. Former Razorback who Jerry loves. Yes, extremely injury prone, but talented and could thrive as a 10-15 carry back in a platoon with Randle behind a great OL the first time in his career. Also, a good pass catcher. I'm not advocating this, but he would be a cheap replacement for Murray and might bridge the gap to a rookie RB we draft.

Not much tread left on those tires. I am not thrilled with the idea. Too likely to wind up on IR. They want to probably have 3 RBs on the roster along with a FB. Randle, Williams, and one more guy - don't think McFadden is the right guy.

Again, I am not advocating him. But he is only 27 (same as Murray). And Jerry loved him coming out of the draft; there were rumors of us trading up to #5 for him.

Please no. Has he ever finished an entire season without as much as a hangnail sidelining him? I know Murray had injury issues up until this year, and yet still got hurt (played through a broken hand). Murray also runs fairly upright, well so does McFadden. More so than Demarco. A recipe for disaster.

McFadden avg 3.4 yds a carry last season, on 154 carries. Latavius Murray avg 5.2 behind the same line with ample sampe size 82 carries.

Please no. If you're going to sign someone in FA, at least get a guy who has been productive and adds something to the offense. Shane Vereen for instance. Excellent receiving threat and can pass block. Maybe you can get him at 3M per.

Clint Stoerner, Felix Jones, Tom Crowder, Jermaine Brooks, Tony Bua, Ken Hamlin. Only 1 was drafted by him.

Translation...I will be beyond surprised if we sign McFadden who has been a colossal bust IMO, and I was firmly on his bandwagon at that Draft.
