Do not be surprised if the free agent RB we sign is McFadden

Surprise wouldn't begin to describe the angst that would be involved...

The OP is BS. You're throwing crap against the wall at this point. Jerry's (and anyone else') love fest with this guy ended after about his third year in the league. God I hate the off-season. He's fragile and undproductive. Yes, That's exactly what Jerry is looking for to replace Murray. SMH.

Not much tread left on those tires. I am not thrilled with the idea. Too likely to wind up on IR. They want to probably have 3 RBs on the roster along with a FB. Randle, Williams, and one more guy - don't think McFadden is the right guy.

More like the tires are bald and leaking air!

Do not be surprised? Actually I'd be shocked if Garrett wants McFadden.

C'mon now, in what parallel universe would Jerry or any other Cowboy staffer think McFadden=Super Bowl
The only time he was even reasonably successful was running behind a man blocking scheme. He's a perpetual injury and would be lucky to get another contract from anyone at this point in his career.

Randle, Dunbar and Ryan Williams in a troop in that order, please. No need to put any money at all into that position. I sincerely appreciate what Demarco did this season, but it has been proven that you don't need to pay a RB big money. Particularly in a zone blocking scheme with very good offensive linemen.

Please no. Has he ever finished an entire season without as much as a hangnail sidelining him? I know Murray had injury issues up until this year, and yet still got hurt (played through a broken hand). Murray also runs fairly upright, well so does McFadden. More so than Demarco. A recipe for disaster.

Yep. No thanks!

Either we keep Murray, or preferably try and sign Mark Ingram.

LOLZ!

Darren McFadden. Former Razorback who Jerry loves. Yes, extremely injury prone, but talented and could thrive as a 10-15 carry back in a platoon with Randle behind a great OL the first time in his career. Also, a good pass catcher. I'm not advocating this, but he would be a cheap replacement for Murray and might bridge the gap to a rookie RB we draft.

Is he what we need? He brings the same things Randle does but with more talent.

We need someone with little more power for those tough yards. This type platooning with Randle would work fine.

Worst case he is camp fodder. Best case he is a Justin Forsett.
