So it's very simple the Cowboys have to win this one or it's pretty much over for Dak regardless of what kind of game he has. If he gets over the hump and beats Brady because that's what this game comes down to Dak vs Brady. If he gets it done he'll be the first and only Cowboys' quarterback to beat him ever, not only that he needs to show everyone that he's a top-tier quarterback and that he can lead the Cowboys to at least the NFC Championship game if not the Super Bowl. If the Cowboys lose Monday night you can pretty much cash in your chips Dak because the media, the fans, and everyone else that you can think of will tear you apart for the rest of your career so make this game your defining moment!
I think you make some good points, Coach D. However, I don't see this game as a Dak vs. Brady. Brady has proven himself as the GOAT for countless years, and is now in the twilight of his career, with a marginal team. Overall, he has nothing left to prove. How I suffered as a New England-born Dallas fan, over the Patriots' success for so many years, but give respect where it's due. Dak, on the other hand, has proven himself to no one; and the way he played last week, going into the playoffs, tells me that it's going to be the same: perhaps they'll get by Tampa, but we'll never get near the S. Bow. Dak seems like a nice guy; a good leader, with many, many flashes of brilliance. Except when it really counts. I feel, deep down, that he is a loser as a "football great". Not a loser as a person, but it's the football-aspect I care about now. There is something about him that chokes up under pressure when it REALLY counts - rookie throws, interceptions, bad decisions; a look on his face like a deer staring into car headlights. Hard to fathom. We'll hope for the best. Certainly the team has other issues, but the QB is obviously at the front. And the Cowboys seem to be backing into the playoffs with exactly the wrong "feel". Yet another bust-year, I fear.So it's very simple the Cowboys have to win this one or it's pretty much over for Dak regardless of what kind of game he has. All that matters is that Jerry and Stephen believe in Dak. And it seems that they do, unconditionally.
Having watched Dak on the field i thought he was dead already....So it's very simple the Cowboys have to win this one or it's pretty much over for Dak regardless of what kind of game he has. Ok, not sure what that has to do with how many games he played.Romo also had 2 whole playoff wins in his “illustrious“ career.
OK, I will tell you. My point was Romo perception doesn’t equal Romo reality.Ok, not sure what that has to do with how many games he played.
Please. If Dak wins, or he loses, he’s still going to cash the checks. And he has a lot of money yet to pick up from the Jones boys. The Cowboys, if they lose Monday night, will all go back to Dallas, pack up, and begin a 3 1/2 months vacation with enough money to have a vacation like you and I and the rest of us can only imagine. So it's very simple the Cowboys have to win this one or it's pretty much over for Dak regardless of what kind of game he has. Well when you were playing prorate the career I took the opportunity to remind everyone of Tony’s lack of accomplishments. Regardless of how long or not he played.Ok, not sure what that has to do with how many games he played.
