This off-season, I've been trying my hardest to divest myself from all delusions about the Dallas Cowboys. I have even prayed while consulting the Magic 8 Ball, the most sacred sources of all truth.

The hardest truth of all to face: what if the Cowboys do exactly what they have done - make the playoffs but get bounced out again in the divisional round? What if it's against the 49ers?

I so want to make declarative statements and pretend that I have the strength to walk away from the Dallas Cowboys If needed. But the truth is that Jerry Jones and his marketing brilliance is too powerful to resist. I'll somehow get roped into one more season of delusion. Happens every season.

Before this thread gets deleted , are there any other brave souls willing to confess their hopelessness when it comes to the Dallas Cowboys?

Naw, bloke. Deek needs another 7 years to find his footing. Of course, finding his footing will be expensive, but Jerry loves his annual one and done playoff experience.

Do or die? Yikes,....maybe for the fans only. My only chance is to outlive Jerry, and now maybe even his son.... dammmm, better start living healthier with a brighter outlook on life.
